If I was going to be too clever by half

the absolute best outcome we could possibly have

is for us to win next weekend

Arse win this game and the next

and Spuds to lose or draw with Everton

that would eliminate Spuds from CL (unless they won the CL)

and would take all the pressure off Arse to beat us in the EL final to grab CL

NO CL FOR SPUDS

which would for sure start to break up the team and maybe Poch would leave
