Sparkie 27
As an Australian who lives and breathes Chelsea, it's hard to know what it's like on matchday at Stamford Bridge in London when you're on the other side of the world! But a bit of online surfing and Twittering has had me thinking about a gap in the CFC market - fan magazines. The Chelsea magazine is great and all but as an official publication it ignores some pressing issues and can't really tackle the big issues. That's what ex-publications like the Chelsea Chronicle and CFCnet Fanzine were available for, an outlet for fans with a view to the blues. Can I ask for a bit of feedback before perhaps gathering more steam about a future pipeline project? Taking the time to answer the two questions above would greatly help in the research.Any comments are much, much appreciated and wanted. BlueLion. 21,491
I do think there is a market for it, and some competition for the CFC-UK fanzine, for instance, would be awesome. TalkChelsea.net fanzine :eyebrows:
kwylino 329
I would Very support A talk chelsea fanzine it would do good for getting this forum name about And really good if we could get the members involved in such stuff too which would pull our community closer together. but it would put a bit of extra work on our Admins And such but it would give our writers on here a good chance to get their words extra acrossOk wise for the Aussie fans i defo think you should go ahead with it. from what i seen football is slowly growing in austrailia so i think it would be good as A hobby to do what ehm you were thinking toShit post is shit. sorry
Sparkie 27
So there is a CFCnet fanzine already? Thanks for the feedback so far.
middleoftheshed 388
Theres a couple already which are sold before matches home and away. Probably the most popular is cfcuk (only a pound!), theres also one called red card I think but I don't buy that. There used to be the Chelsea Independant but that isnt made anymore. NattyBlue 44
I think the biggest player for me is CFCNET (or is it CFC UK, I can't remember the name). I've never bought one myself but they're there every home game and as a fan I would choose theirs over others I suppose.

cfc-meleady 192
CFCUK is the best one around, sells a fair bit. I doubt a new one would make a big impact but it would be a good sponsor for the site if it was to even get a name out there.
BlueLion. 21,491
TBF, I think if we released one - with the calibre of writers on here and the enthusiasm we all have - it would certainly be a good addition to the market.
NattyBlue 44
I bought the CFC UK fanzine the other day. To be honest it provided me with a different insight, it's fan views of course but season ticket holders and away travellers, more than just post-match write-ups. It was good but I prefer getting the matchday programmes to em. I could buy both and not eat at the bridge I spose! lol
