Happy with the 3 points today, we no doubt deserved the win as a result of our full dominance. It could have easily been six, had Malouda and Kalou took their chances. Can't blame Torres today really, have absolutely no complaints. He was only given a few minutes, you can't expect him to score for that little time. Carlo could have and should have brought him on for Kalou on the 65th or 70th minute. 20-25 minutes would be ideal for him to score, ten minutes is way too little.

I agree he has to earn his place. I don't want him to start games until he has shown he can actually help the team, but if you want him to get back to form, I don't understand giving a striker 10 mins. We were up 2 goals.

Anyways, I hope Drogba starts again next game, and just hope Torres gets more than just 10 mins.

I think they didn't want Drogba to misunderstand the substitution and didn't want to pair them either. I think Ancelotti wanted to play Torres in the 4-3-3 as CF, with Kalou and Malouda on wings. Perhaps 20-25mins would have been more appropriate given the fact that we were in control of the game.

Devistated i missed the match, i was out playing football, came back in and what a result!. I told you that Drogba should of started you guys, he's more effective and shows more in the game, saving a ball on the line. That's Drogba for ya.

Carlo humiliating Torres with only 9 minutes.

Giving the media & liverpool fans yet another game to add to his record.

Who gives a crap about the media? If Torres would've played in the first 11, the media would say that Abramovich is the one who makes the team.So...

Don't really care about Torres not scoring when Drogba plays like that. World class.

Yea, because a 27 year old investment, who of which needs a goal, is less important than a 33 year old playing well against relegation fodder.

Exactly! Drogba was great today and Ancelotti was right to start him, but he won't be great forever. The sooner Torres gets off the mark, the better for him AND the team. No one will benefit more from his form than Chelsea FC. So yeah, it's kind of important.

But it's easy not to care now I guess.
