CL away game seating allocation

I've found that we'll be allotted 3700 seats for the OT game against United in the Champions League, while we'll be giving them 3000 tickets at our home.

The reason put out to a friend of mine at our Box office was "I can confirm we will receive 3700 tickets and they will receive 3000. The reason they will receive 3000 is because we have only 3 options of 500, 1500 or 3000 tickets and not an option in between. Kind regards Graham"

Did a bit of research..

Article 13.06 of UEFA states that at least 5% of the total stadium capacity must be reserved for visiting supporters.

So for Old trafford with a normal seating capacity of 75957, it comes to 3797.5.. With a Uefa seating regulations in place it's capacity must be somewhere close to 74000, which comes out to 3700. Talk about them exploiting the rule.

With our capacity of 42050, it comes out to 2102.5, considering the Uefa seating regulations, our official capacity for CL games must be close to 40000, for which 5% comes out to 2000.

It's not like we won't fill the stadium so why do we have to be so generous? Barca put the away fans in the skies and again with an allocation just as meagre.

Can we raise the issue and get it rectified?
