Vata (wind), kapha (mucus) and pitta (bile) are the three forcesof Ayurveda. In the Vedas, it has been mentioned that Ayurveda is a part oflife – a bond between the soul and nature. A balance of these forces helps inthe proper functioning of the mental as well as physical health. When thisbalance goes out of proportion, the body faces all kinds of sicknesses.
