8.9 Magnitude Earthquake rocks Japan

I agree that animal cruelty is abhorrent TX, but I'm not naive enough to think that the Japanese are the only people who partake.

You don't think that there is or has ever been animal cruelty in the UK? Nor do I think that it equates to 14,000 dead men, women and children, most of which have never been on a fishing boat before.

Also, if you're working on Karma then dont complain if this island that we live on goes up in flames because we are guilty of worse things.

That shit is still happening right now though, I challenge you to find worse that's happening right now in the UK.

As far as animal cruelty goes, countries like japan & china are an abomination.

This skinning process takes about a minute, during which the worker actively keeps the animal alive, as it is believed that it is easier to skin the animal while it is still warm and blood flows through its veins. The nightmare does not end here. The final stage in this unbelievable horror is when the animal is tossed aside, and slowly, amidst a heap of its dying friends, it perishes as it is no longer able to withstand the pain.

Disgusting, I agree, but if you believe that justifies the deaths of thousands of people then fair enough, we're never going to concur on this one.

If killing innocent animals inhumanely deserves an earthquake, what does killing innocent people in the middle east deserve? Surely worse, no?

maybe my post should be read properly and not just the first few lines because its too long for you to be bothered. i mentioned that i'm sorry for the ones who are decent people but at the end of the day, if you fuck with nature, nature will fuck with you. These Japs that do this to animals are sick cold blooded cunts and i struggle to sympathise with what's happened.

Ollie, I read the whole of your post first of all and read the line, "yes i do have sympathy for the ones who are innocent", but I don't agree that innocent people should have to pay the price for what the government allow fishermen to do to animals as you obviously do.

Personally I dont believe in Karma but I thought the whole point of it was that a person's actions (good or bad) will determine his/her destiny.

Therefore surely the guilty are the only ones that should perish?

If I've misunderstood your post then please correct me, otherwise we should agree to disagree.

I agree with most of what you've posted in the time I've been on this forum but I couldn't help myself in responding to,

(what I saw as insensitive remarks), during such a tragic event.

I do believe in Karma, what goes around, comes around. A famous saying that i believe in and always will.

I'm sorry but that's quite shameful. Yes they're wrong for killing innocent animals but this notion of "an eye for an eye" is exactly what's wrong with human society today. Instead of trying to correct this behaviour of killing innocent animals, people like yourself (no offence) seek comfort in seeing those perpetrators being killed themselves. Kind of makes you as bad.

Moving on from that..

I read about how the nuclear plant scientists are, knowingly, risking their lives to save everyone. The Metro had quotes of how the scientists claimed, they knew they were walking to their deaths, but if it's to save millions more, it's a sacrifice worth making. True martyrs and their efforts should be remembered for a long while!

I can't really add to what i've said though, i don't care much about their disaster. Innocent animals died in the most horrific ways, innocent people died in bad ways. Japan is a brutal country to animals, the tsunami was brutal to the humans. I'm not gonna go running around here saying i'm so sad for the japs and it's such a terrible thing that's happened, they didn't deserve it or think oh maybe i shouldn't say that, i'll just hide away so no1 thinks i'm a cunt. I'm putting out what i think, you can call me all the names possible but this is what i believe and it's exactly the way i'm gonna stay.

This isn't a man made disaster like some nutty twat like Raoul Moat, this is a natural disaster which is unstoppable and blameless. Nature struck, it's happened before, it will happen again. The human race is destroying the planet at an unbelievable rate so if something happens to the humans, shame. Get on with it.

To be perfectly honest, when i see what the Japs do to nature, especially to whales and dolphins, i can actually say that i don't give a shit that the sea got them back. I love animals, i love nature and i respect the planet. I especially think dolphins are the most amazing, human-friendly creatures on the planet and when i read in the paper or see vids or images of them killing dolphins, harmless, fucking dolphins that actually love and interact with us, it puts tears in my eyes and i actually wish for them to get hit by a natural disaster and fuck did they get one

I'm not saying that everyone is guilty and yes i do have sympathy for the ones who are innocent and are decent people but at the end of the day, this earthquake was mother natures way of saying fuck you! They fucked with natures sea life, the sea fucked them. I do believe in Karma, what goes around, comes around. A famous saying that i believe in and always will.

This explains why we haven't won the Champions league. Ever seen Roman going seal hunting?

He needs to stop or he'll never get his hands on the european cup.:) (He may have stopped now,I don't know)

Jokes aside. It is awful what you explain. I've seen dolphins being friendly with humans then lured to their death, whales and seals battered and electrocuted to death.

Can't understand why other countries just turn a blind eye to it. Probably because money isn't involved like with oil.

Yeah, it's kind of like, when the US drop phosphorous bombs in Iraq. Innocent children are lured to the mysterious object which instantly kills them.

Abosolutely tragic events. Shameful at the match the other night, supposed to have a minutes silence, all the Chelsea fans fell silent, it was the Copenhagen fans that started shouting out. Disgusted really :(

Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an extended expression or consequence of natural acts. Karma means "deed" or "act" and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, that governs all life. The effects experienced are also able to be mitigated by actions and are not necessarily fated. That is to say, a particular action now is not binding to some particular, pre-determined future experience or reaction; it is not a simple, one-to-one correspondence of reward or punishment. Karma is not fate, for humans act with free will creating their own destiny. According to the Vedas, if one sows goodness one will reap goodness; if one sows evil, one will reap evil. Karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determines our future. The conquest of karma lies in intelligent action and dispassionate response.

You've interpreted Karma wrongly. The acts of one individual affects his future, not those of others. People who treat animals cruelly will bear the consequences of their actions in their own lives, present or future - this is the rationale if you believe in Karma. There is no connection between whaling and the tsunamis, or Pearl Harbor and the tsunamis, like those ignorant and pig-stupid Americans claimed.

Moving on, you've got to admire the way the Japs have handled themselves. Their poise and dignity I admire. Respect.
