LDN Blue 7,903
the club is still heavily advertising this game for people to buy tickets. Yet their cheapest price is £57, are they totally inept?!
Term-X 7,891
No doubt the itv commentators will slag us off for the whole 90 minutes, if the stands are empty.

The club is going crazy. Only reason i am going to this game is because i don't get to see the Chels all that often... Total joke.
chrismada9 1,948
Perfect game for Josh to play in i think. I'd actually like us to play Torres on his own in a front 3 with Malouda and Zhirkov on either wing. It wont hurt, will it.Definitely agree. I think Josh needs to start in a game like this to increase his performance levels. I think he's able to tackle the ball really well, and get play going in attack. As for Malouda and Zhirkov. It's a gamble, but I guess it won't hurt to try it out and see the outcome. After all, like Alex said, we need to rest a host of our important players for the City game at the weekend because that will definitely be a difficult game for us. Henri 115
This games has to be taken 100 % serious, no resting best team on field. CL is as important asPL, there are no easy games. Stay focused.

Thats what happened at the Rosenburg game and tickets were only £30,loads of empty seats..next thing you know for the next game tickets were £25 and stayed like that in the group stages anyway for a couple of seasons.Doubt they'd drop them this time though

The other two cheaper.Rosenborg was that one game and they changed it for the next season.

Kostas 1,468
Carletto said that he wants to keep some players fit for ManCity. Therefore I expect ~30 mins for McEachran, Bertrand and Zhirkov.
spuz 143
Anyone think Torres will be rested ahead of City?I think he will. Hopefully it will pay off.Just thinking back to that final Marseille group game when Carlo should have rested players but never and now tonight probably shouldn't be resting players but will. NattyBlue 44
I don't understand why people are complaining about the ticket price - it's a CL knockout match, regardless of oppo you know the drill. Don't complain to pay the same amount for less loyalty points vs Wolves do we?
chrismada9 1,948
Scandanavian ref, I'm a bit worried. Why do we have a Scandinavian referee if we're playing a Danish club? Doesn't sound right to me ....

calculatingInfinity 1,472
Why do we have a Scandinavian referee if we're playing a Danish club? Doesn't sound right to me .... :mellow:The fourth ref is from a very small town in Norway... the same our manager is from. But no I think it's fine, Denmark and Norway doesn't have any bonds really, we got a norwegian manager and that is all. Would be like saying dutch, austrian and belgian refs shouldn't judge games with German teams.
HRiver 1,512
Anyone think Torres will be rested ahead of City?I hope not. I want him to score his first tonight. Chances that he'll score against City are not as big. Tonight he has a great opportunity of scoring.
LDN Blue 7,903
Maybe Fernando will have a rest. I want to rotate my team and with everyone fit I will use all the players to preapre for this game and for Manchester City. Torres has played well for the team. The only problem is that he is a new player for us and he has to know our kind of play better." I hope he gives Torres a start at least. Dropping him won't do much for his confidence. Would like to see Ash rested though..
