(There should be 'Did you' in my question I think.)

"You hope you get a strong referee in games like this," said Ferguson.

"It was a major game for both clubs. You want a fair referee - or a strong referee, anyway - and we didn't get that.

"I don't know why he has got the game. I must say, when I saw who the referee was I did fear it. I feared the worst."

For these comments he must be punished somehow!

Ohhhh what a brilliant comeback by the Mighty Blues!

When we conceded i bet everyone was giving up and looking for who to blame, but that curly man struck our equaliser and it was a time for a comeback.Zhirkov yet again proved he is better than Malouda and his penalty gave us the win.We might not be on the title path anymore but surely this will kick off our season. And if we can defeat United in their prime the Uefa Champions League run looks like a good bet.

C'MON YOU BLUES!

Rustled up a new chant for David Luiz!!

(sung to "in your Liverpool Slums")

We've got David Luiz

He comes from Brazil and he wears Number 4

He proved he was blue when he came through the door

We've got David Luiz

We've got David Luiz

He looks like he's got an Afro on his head

He put one past Man U-ni-ted at the Shed

We've got David Luiz

Ferguson is too smart or too senile to be a coach.

how can he is criticizing David Luiz, if Rooney 3 days ago was to be expelled by a direct attack on an opponent without the ball in play.

I should say thanks to the FA for being a friend of Ferguson and stop criticizing the Refs whom a thousand times had helped United to win many tough matches especially in the era of CR7.

And one more thing I can not stand on Carlo, is how easily he lost the verbal battle especially with coaches like Ferguson and Wenger. In this issue, nobody beats the special One .. I miss Those battles too.

If Rooney would it be punished as he deserved none of this had happened and sure we had won ... Ferguson forgets what is convient to him and his team, and no one reminds him how often he receives Many Favors

Watched the match on DVR.

It was end to end stuff from beginning to end. It was full of challenges, tackles (good and bad) and acting. Entertaining.

Not sure what happened in the first half but Chelsea seemed out of it for a good portion. Second half, not sure what was said in the dressing room and by who, but do it again. I remember saying a few weeks ago "what happened to the we're freaking Chelsea team of the past". That was out there in the second half. They didn't look too old or disinterested last night.

Thought Nani was going to have a field day based on the first half. He was shut down the second half. Hernandez and Berbatov were pretty quiet too.

Shrek and Nani - can't decide whose more annoying to watch.

Vidic - he seems to have a short in his brain when playing teams with Torres on them.

Luiz - can't say much that hasn't already been said. He was fun to watch and a little scary too. He's a fearless player who Chelsea fans are going to love and everybody else hate.

Most important - 3 pts!!!!

Mike Phelan on Saturday: "Well, the referee saw what he saw and he kept the game rolling. I mean we can't dispute a referee's decision, he's kept the game flowing and we're happy with that". Ferguson yesterday: "You want a fair referee - or a strong referee, anyway - and we didn't get that...these are decisions that change the game. And he's going to be refereeing every week", etc, etc etc. Wish they would make their bloody minds up.

Prior to this game I wasn't fussed who won the title between United and Arsenal, but the United reaction after this game is further proof that they're incapable of losing with dignity and therefore much as it pains me to say it, I'd rather Arsenal win the league if we can't have it.

Getting away from all that rubbish, thought our second half performance was excellent. David Luiz is becoming a cult hero at Chelsea already, absolutely brilliant composure from him on our first goal. Didier showed a lot more passion than he has of late when he came on. I'm still feeling very postive with Torres, his performances are improving with every game. It's surely only a matter of time until he gets his first goal, and once that happens there'll be no stopping him. I'm just delighted that pretty much everyone in the team picked up their performances and really hope we can continue to play like that until the end of the season.
