Well, what a turn around, at half time I was sure that was our season over, we were awful, but I dont know what was said in the dressing room at half time but didnt it work!! We were excellent in the second half, the game had everything, we fully deserved the 3 points. Torres is getting sharper every game, the only thing he is lacking is a goal, Luiz is looking to be an excellent signing, he is eager to impress so is going in tough and hard with his challenges, which I love. Ramires was solid in arguably the biggest game of our season so far, couldnt be happier.

The only bad points from the match I can think of was the performances of Malouda and Anelka, they were both poor IMO, Zhirkov has to start vs Blackpool I think.

Im loving the reaction from the Manure fans, apparently were cheats, the ref is a CFC fan, etc etc etc, I love what short memories they have, Rooneys elbow? And if they would like to talk about penalty decisions, they couldnt possibly cast their minds back to Nevilles push on Anelka last season that he got away with, it was such a blatent penalty.

This could be a turning point now, plenty of points left to play for, and plenty of points left for MUFC and Arsenal to drop.

And as said, if we can beat Man United, who are top of the league, that will really give us confidence in the CL, on our day we can beat anyone in Europe, hopefully our bad patch of form is now over! And when El Nino gets his scoring boots on, we'll be laughing.

I watched only first 25 minutes, because my net broke down and I don't have a TV here.

So then I was googling chelsea on my phone, it shows you a result. I was very sad and depressed when i saw that it was 1-0. Then happy when it was 1-1 and really happy when it was 2-1. :D

I am watching highlights now, and will try to watch the whole game tomorrow or who knows when.

I hope this win will be a huge confidence boost for the rest of the games.

EDIT: I'm happy for David, that was a beautiful goal. But only one chelsea player can be called GOD and he wears number 8.

great match missed this kind of performances so much, any updates on mikels injury?

thought essien was poor in the first half, as was lampard but both rose into old heights but malouda and anleka have been generally poor, good game from torres Luiz MotM and drogs wonderfull to see him like that...

zhirkov should definitly start ahead of malouda in the next game he was looking extremly well...

Mikel isn't injured as far as I know, only Benayoun (back in training) and Alex (no info about him)

That same Ref gave 6 minutes injury time - only 4 I think was put on the board when they played Man City last year that allowed Owen to score - plus he sent off 2 wigan players against Man ure this season. Funny how Fergie forgets that aint it!!!. He also disallowed a cracking Torres strike in the first 5 mins of this game.

We are the only team in the PL era to have a better head to head against them- stick that in your pipe Fergie and smoke it!!!!

Great game, the first half man u were better, but the sunddenly in the second we played much better. Our midfield actually decided to turn up. What a great player Luiz is, he's just so exciting to watch but i think he may have to work on his defending because he so damn eager to get the ball thus going in for the tackle way to early. But i still cant fault him for his commitment, and his goal...Wow. Torres played well, i still think we need someone who can slip him in balls, because if you notice he has to go on the wing just to get the ball, but his touches, control, and passing was great. Overall I think it was a well deserved win, now come on lets get third. :)

Mikel injured himself in the warm-up yesterday. There has been no update though.

We ended up winning the game because we purely wanted it a lot more than Man Utd (in the second half). So after (heavily) criticizing the players, not all of them of course, for months I have to compliment them for showing great passion and heart in the second half that led us to victory .

But, yeah there's a but, they need to show it a lot more because we're a much lesser side without it.

Great game last night and what a result.

Hopefully now we can build on this, remain unbeaten, finish as high as we can in the table and go fucking hell for leather in the Champions League.

Our season certainly isn't over yet blue%20scalf.gif.

PS:To Arsenal fans.Don't thank us all at once! :whistling:
