Blackburn did it in 1884-1885-1886, and Wanders FC (now defunct) did it before them too.

Does that mean Wanderers FC have more history than the scousers? After all Liverpoo have never won the FA cup 3 times in a row. Now that's history. Wanderers had won the FA cup 5 times before the dippers had even been thought of.

They've won it 5 times, they've won it 5 times etc etc

Were playing Everton next?, i thought we were playing Man United?. Well then again F.A Cup, plus we got another one in CL. But still thank god for that, that could mean a third game could be right to get a good rotation of the team. I'm actually pretty confident with this one, watching the last game i could spot the mistakes and what we could do to change that, Carlo could probably have this under control. Drogba was a bit mispleasing in the last game, but i think we gotta get these two playing together, one of them is going to leave if it's going to be a sub for sub or a you play one game i play the other. Get these guys working and it could be magic, i think it's a good move.

EDIT. Torres isn't playing?, well i suppose it's Drogba up after all, please Drogba prove yourself that you can still score some crackers and play a good match.

Hope Carlo give chance to Borini. At least 10 minutes. But remember with stu when he score 5 goals Carlo give him only 3 or 5 minutes. So I think Borini won't have a chance but he have the skills for 1st team.Hope we won't lost another young talent.

Carlo could give Borini a chance. But you'd be pushing the limits against a team like Everton. I guess it all depends on the situation of the game. If we're losing 1-0 and we need goals, I don't think Borini would get that chance. Though you never really know!

I don't think Carlo would risk by playing Borini. This is an important game for us and Borini hasn't got enough experience. We can't let Everton knock us out of the cup, it'd be embarrasing. At least we should concentrate on the FA Cup and try to win it.

Exactly, especially at home as well!

Only Arsenal (FA Cup), Charlton and Burnley (League cup -- both on pens) have been able to beat us at Stamford Bridge in any Domestic Cup game this decade, and I went to the Burnley game!

Saha has been on fire for them recently & he always scores against us, he is our nemesis so thank fook he is not playing! Everton really make it hard for us every time we play them & can't see it being any different on Saturday. Mind you we did beat them in the FA cup final which over the past 5 years or so would be the one we would want to win.

I really cannot predict which way the tie will go but would like to see MacEachran start, I think Ancelotti will probably use the same back four, Drogba, Mikel & Kalouless will almost certainly start for Torres, Essien & Anelka respectively, Lamps & Maloulda will probably get the nod, It's just a question of whether he starts Josh or selects Ramires from the off?

Wouldn't be my selection but just trying to second guess Ancelotti as he has recently used the term 'Rotation' are we about to see the second coming of the 'tinker man'?!
