Yeah I definitely agree. Cech bar this game has made some top performances in the last few weeks. Without him there we'd still be struggling for form at the moment. He's made some quality saves and has somewhat been our best player at times because he's kept us in the game whatever the score.

Have to say, neither Turnbull nor Hilario would emulate that.

Definitely! Thankfully Cech's only 28, and as we see with the likes of Van Der Sar and Casillas, goalkeepers can keep going till the age of 40!

The problem is, when/if he get injured we'd have big problems. Turnbull and Hilario are far from adequate, I say, out with them, and in with the promotion of Walker & Taylor.

It would make sense bidding for Asmir Begovic from Stoke, but even they were being bitchy about the price for him in the summer, so there wasn't much luck with him. Hell he isn't even their first choice goalkeeper, so you can honestly see where I'm coming from with this.

An offer of Turnbull would suit Stoke fine as well I reckon.

I think when Turnbull has been in goal he looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. We definitely need a good backup for Cech.

Yeah I thought about Begovic and then realised, the point of buying a keeper to be a back-up for the next 12years is pointless. Might as well use our academy products, we have quite a few as it is, Walker, Taylor, Sebek, Blackman & Delac. The great thing is, we can sell Hilario and Turnbull for a few million and reap the rewards of not having to invest in a another keeper.

Yeah. Whilst Malouda was behind the line, there was no way the ball could have been entirely out of play, because otherwise his foot would have been behind the line too.
