For Malouda I don't think so. I imagine that Carlo will move Ramires to the left side, move Essien to the right side and give back to Mikel his position.

And for Ferreira, yeah, I believe he will play...If Lampard wasn't injured, I think Carlo would play Bruma. But with two major players out, he won't take that 'risk'.

That makes sense but I think it collides with Chelsea's pecking order

Terry hands Chelsea fitness boost

On Monday I took a knee to the ribs, which were sore and resulted in me missing the last two days' training with the squad

I have been able to do some pool work and stepped up training today with the medical team whilst the rest of the squad were off. I will resume full training on Saturday and be available for Monday's game at Bolton.

I do wish when players sustain some sort of injury, they take time out and rest for a short while. The last thing we need is our captain out with a long term injury. Talking of injuries what's the latest on Benayoun and Alex?

Hate Monday Night games. I want to watch my team play on Sat/Sun. having the oppertunity to down some beers and not being worried about getting up in the morning.

Looks to me like Sky or whoever want to introduce something like Monday Night Football for football.

Yeah they used to do it a few season ago too but I think they gave it up because they didn't get the big clubs to agree. This season they've done more and more often, which is a real shame.

Mancini was saying something how Chelsea shouldn't be written off. :D

Title wise though lol...if Man U win their game in hand we're slightly screwed

But hey after that shite run and we're 4th..shame Newcastle couldnt hold on!!!

Win Monday go 3 clear of Spurs

Don't know why everyone is being so pessimistic. You do know that in Bolton's last 8 games they have only won twice and lost 5 times. So its the perfect oppertunity to get us in a good winning form by beating a team that is also low on confidence. Not to mention we have done well at the Reebok in the decade.

Because this is us. It means nothing to clubs who are going through a bad spell too because they know we're more vulnerable away from home. This season has been great for mid-table clubs, Sunderland, Birmingham, Newcastle & Wolves have all taken points from us and so clubs who play us at home instantly feel a massive boost.

And if the players go into that attitude of clubs like Bolton making us shit ourselves then of course Bolton will take advantage, the players need to start putting pressure on teams from the moment the whistle goes and not take the pessimistic views some of the suppporters give off before the game even starts. Like I said Bolton are going through a bad patch of form at a time when we are hopefully getting a winning form again. But the team won't get that form if they go to teams and play like a team deep in a regulation battle and they are about to face Barcelona... this is Bolton for christ sakes.

What better way to regain our away form then the Reebok stadium? A venue we have traditionaly done well in.
