I see your point, but seeing Essien, Mikel and Ramires ALL in the same midfield makes me feel physically sick. So whilst we don't have a shortage of midfielders per se, we have a shortage of specialist midfielders, since we sold two attacking midfielders in Deco and Joe Cole, a holding player in Belletti, and a box-to-box player in Ballack and only replaced two of them.

I think it's more the way they are deployed. Essien,Mikel and Ramires are all class.(most of the time).

I remember when we got Ballack and Jose started to use a horrible, narrow, tight midfield of Ballack,Cole,Lamps and Makelele. I think this is sort of how we're playing at the moment. Not good.

He has more chance playing for us lol what a tard. He wont develop there, no way. So even Tottenham now are prefered more than us to go to. Times are bad lol.

Agreed. If it was a decent player and we got gazumped on wages by Spurs or any team for that matter,i'd be seriously pissed off. But seeing as it's only Pienaar,then Harry you're more than welcome to him. Especially seeing as they won't have CL football next year. Good luck paying all those wages.
