Edinson Cavani

Even if its not my money, I still think 63 million euros for Cavani is seriously inflated. I like that the fact that we are not willing to pay more than 40 million pounds. The money might not come from my cheque account but doesn't mean that I want my club to be taken advantage of. I hope Chelsea offer what they think his worth and if Napoli don't like they can go f*** themselves.

^ Hi im Rafa Benitez

Its nothing personal son of a bitch.

Since Chelsea has not much more momentum strikers to lead the line (if any other) in their sight, Cavani imo will be a matter of days.

Here are some stats.

Some stats on Cavani.

In Serie A Cavani had 33 Apps and scored 29 goals, 4 assists, and received EIGHT yellow cards.

In all competitions hes had 41 Apps and 36 goals with 6 assists and Thirteen yellow cards.

His passing rate is 79 Percent which is good for a forward. Normally it is the players who play the more safe passes in the center back positions who get the highest percentage in this area.

In that respect he has a better overall stats sheet than lewandoski, falcao, for example for the 12/13 season, this is considering though that Falcao started like a rocket and decreased a little bit, lewandowski was as concurrent as cavani as far as im concerned.

He gets a healthy average of below 1 offsides per game. Only lewandowski has less with 0.8 in the quick search comparison ive made.

He also has a good a very healthy dispossession stat. Falcao and Lewandowski receieved practically 2 more per game. And is also better in the turnovers.

Also has atleast 1 long ball per game.

Cavani is the most inform striker in europe, has great passing and can score with the head, long shots, tap in, etc, and can really hold his own with the ball not getting dispossed. He is good against offside traps, and he also has good work ethic.

He also has two good feet and great positional awareness being able to move around the box.

Hes a healthy striker this man. Many other clubs would go after him if they really needed him, and im surprised i havent heard about them going for him as strongly.

Despite the price, chelsea is going to acquire ( if he does arrive) the world's top striker of 12/13.

If we get this guy i hope we sell Torres, otherwise i doubt Lukaku will get much of a chance. I don't see us dropping two 50 million pound strikers on huge wages for a supposed youngster (even though he proved his worth last year...). Next season i want Lukaku to be our backup striker, this will give him enough games to prove himself.

Cavani (29 goals in Serie A Last season), Lukaku (17 goals in PL) and Ba (13 goals in PL) will be a great going into next season.

Cavani wants 300 thou a week, if this story is correct.

Well, sorry for my language, but he can go & fuck himself for that kind of money.

Under no circumstance, Chelsea should pay him so much, I feel.

Where is the guarantee he won´t be a flop ? What about, if he scores 20 goals only ?

That pay, he must score 50-60 goals a season.

I pretty much doubt that...you do now press write shit, and nothing is going to turn heads around like mentioning such a high wage :) Even Cavani himself said that he is not worth money Napoli president asks for him.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says that talks have opened withManchester City over a deal that would seeEdinson Cavani, 26, move to the English club with 27-year-old Edin Dzeko heading the other way.#Marca.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he ends up there.

If we were at all seriously interested we should've paid the money already, because now City has Tevez off the books and Balotelli's never been replaced so they'll probably buy Cavani now.

Right. We have to be faster now, City can spend milions without any problem. Right now they have 2 strikers, Aguero and Dzeko.

And they've been shopping Dzeko around so they're obviously not confident in him.

They'll surely buy a big name forward. Would be FUCKING incredible if they jacked Higuain from under Arsenal's noses. Don't think he's as good as others do, so I wouldn't mind him going to City.

With tevez gone i expect this to happen it is also the best deal for napoli I would say. They would rather have dzeko and not torres. And I doubt anybody will pay the release clause!

Yes, I am aware of him saying, he is not worth 63m €. However, his weekly wage could be astronomical. Even at close to 180thou, I believe he would be pretty close to it. Mind you, I still would love to see him at Chelsea, but not at that price.

Now, I read about Rafa & his clueless comments too. " Pay his full fee. "
