in terms of goal scoring Gomez is better. higuain though is technically better. but both are nothing for us in my opinion. would rahter pay 60 m and get cavani and sort this position out for a few years.

But I do hope that we don't let Man City lay their hands on him, and we get their second fiddle striker Edin Dzeko at the end of it... that would be like them spanking our arses!

It could very well be the case that we've been the only ones giving solid offers, they just aren't to the liking to Napoli, and this is their way of getting us to up the ante.

No it isn't, he is worth it. And do you know how much those 2 matches made for us? More than £5m each match apparently. Now that is brilliant for 2 friendly matches and we didn't do it 'for fun', we did it for business.

Sorry to tell this to you but you don't get top strikers for around £15-£20m anymore. Well you could get Mario Gomez for that but should we rally have to settle for that guy? The club have bid 50m euros for Cavani, why not make it £10m more and we will get him?

Actually we are if Marin and Torres are sold/loan out. Backup gk is NOT NEEDED, Blackman can play there and we will recall Courtois next season so seem pretty silly to buy a GK who will only stay for one season and play cup matches. We will get a DM too, Van Ginkel is one himself in case you didn't know...CB there are a few around and we will probably get one like Mangala. CF is Jovetic/Gomez/Cavani, we will get one of them too no matter what. So we will hit all these targets
