Peace. 4,352
Lol when Nistelrooy/Inzaghi scores tap-ins, he is a 'goalpoacher' or a 'fox in the box'.When Kalou scores tap ins, he is 'king of tap ins'.Actually he is really far to be the 'king of tap ins', if you see what I'm sayin (ie FA Cup final, Chelsea - Portsmouth; and so many other exemples)
Term-X 7,891
true but you you will never convince the smart ass haters. despite the number of caps he has earned and the managers who have selected him ..the true experts are TX , Kostas ,,and Badboy ..they have the coaching credentials none can match. Jose, Carlo etc are working with what they have.
Madmax 9,219
Kalou is a winger, Inzaghi is a striker. Then why do expect him to score anything other than tap-ins?
Rambo 1,729
Awful comparison.Kalou is a winger, Inzaghi is a striker.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQdYkZAv53MI'd like to see Kalou attempt that.. He'd probably lose the ball at the 3 second mark.
Term-X 7,891
Then why do expect him to score anything other than tap-ins?Because that's all he has to offer! lmao, whenever people on here get into discussions over Kalou they bring up his stats."oww he can't be shite if he's got 50 goals" etc etc
Madmax 9,219
Actually he is really far to be the 'king of tap ins', if you see what I'm sayin (ie FA Cup final, Chelsea - Portsmouth; and so many other exemples) Lol I get you, he misses goals nobody else would, is frustrating as hell.BUT, he plays for 10-15 mins every game when the others are fit, puts in effort always and yes he misses some, but he also scores some. What bothers me is why do people have different standards for him and others when they do the exact same things he does?Nobody complains about 'tap-ins' when Drogba/Anelka score them. Madmax 9,219
Because that's all he has to offer! Well then by your statement that he's the tap-in master, I guess he does his job rather well
Term-X 7,891
Nobody complains about 'tap-ins' when Drogba/Anelka score them.Because they have proved themselves to be quality.Lmao at the usual "He puts in effort, arh look he's puttin in effort"Fuck that, i'd rather that game time be given to the youngsters. LDN Blue 7,903
Nobody complains about 'tap-ins' when Drogba/Anelka score them.Because the difference is, they can offer/score by other means too. You've got to admit, TX is right when it comes to people bringing up Kalou's stats?.. But I do agree with you, he gives it his all, which is honourable. He puts the likes of Drogba and Anelka to shame, however the real shame is, he can't be better than he is. If Drogba showed half the commitment Kalou then he'd be, undisputedly, the world's best striker.
Madmax 9,219
Lmao at the usual "He puts in effort, arh look he's puttin in effort"Believe it or not, that counts when 'quality' players like Anelka and Drogba prefer to jog about lazily. Madmax 9,219
Because the difference is, they can offer/score by other means too. Hear hear - Can Drogba/Anelka score by other means? Yes. Do they score by other means? Yes. Are they appreciated for this? Yes.Can Kalou score other than tap-ins? According to most - No. Does he score tap-ins? Yes. Thus, does he do what you expect him to do? Yes. Is he appreciated for this? No.So, why mock him for doing what you expect him to do?About the stats part, show me one post where I brought up Kalou's stats in an attempt to justify him. eldo 868
Because the difference is, they can offer/score by other means too. Some people hare have double standards. I have seen the video of Mikel you uploaded in the videos section. Class player. And then he gets more stick for playing 2 bad games, than Essien who played 3-4 or more. Because he's a Chelsea player, however this is not his fault.. So I don't blame him, my issue with Kalou is no longer directly at him, it's more of the frustration of his selection - So at Carlo As for the last part; Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean you.. I just meant generally, when Kalou is criticised, someone brings up his stats as justification for his starting place.. That's all
