Carlo also said this in his press conference,

It is difficult when the situation is not so good to give McEachran the key to manage the play of the team at 17 years old. I prefer to use Essien who has experience.

Though I'd argue he wouldn't have done it anyway, I do see his point. I like seeing McEachran on the pitch as much as the next guy, but at 17 it should be done in moderations. What do you guys think though?

LOL

He avoids the real problem here... Why he's talking about McEachran ? Everybody's aware that Josh is still too young even if he's a great talent. I would want him to talk about Sturridge, Kakuta and Bruma, and I'm really curious to hear him explain why he doesn't play either Stu or Kakuta instead of Kalou and Anelka, and why he plays Ferreira instead of Bruma and PvA...

 in fairness, I think he was asked directly about Josh

Actually, I watched Sturridge in the reserve game against Tottenham Reserves, if I recall, he scored a belter coming from the right hand side. Using his left foot fair enough, but the way I see it, Sturridge is quick enough to play in any position in attack.

Ahh, the Adam Johnson way..

It works if you can really cut back well and unleash that monster of a shot (as he demonstrated in that reserve game). The only problem with it, is it's very predictable. A very good left-back will be able to read when the cut back would happen and just keep intercepting. Then again, Sturridge is very quick so he may be able to pull it off.. I'd really like to see him lead the attack from the front, but if he can adapt, then I don't mind.

Which radio stations it on? I assume BBC London will be playing it?

BBC Radio Suffolk http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/9349520.stm

The streams usually appear half an hour prior to the match. We still have almost an hour and half to kick off.

Yeah but they're usually listed long before that too. But hopefully you're right and they'll appear later on.

Cole, Essien, Malouda and Drogba rested.

Sturridge, PvA and McEachran start.

Kakuta & Bruma on the bench

The rest as expected

Good to see. Changes have been made on their own really, but it's something, and I'll accept it.

Hopefully we'll get to see this via a stream.
