Wxgba 306
Typical.Liverpool finding form before they play us!! Hopefully we can play like we did second half and volia...no media hype about Gerrard for more daysCorrection: Gerrard finding form before they play us. With tonight's hat-trick no doubt boosting his confidence massively, we need to be even more cautious about him this weekend. Put him back in his shell where he's been hiding for the most part of this season. I expect us to start a lot brighter than we did in the Champions League last night, with Essien injecting the extra 'oomph' from the centre of the park. Hopefully anyway!Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea. Fulham Broadway 17,319
Think Napoli got complacent last night -Gerrard can be good on his day, but will be neutralised by our midfield.Looks as though Malouda is out unfortunately -really need to get at them down the flanks, but Zhirkov has hit a rich vein of form, and Kalou has form up there

EskWeston 696
Doubts on Essien and Lampard as well as having Malouda out. Would much prefer if we could go into this game with at least Essien, but to put out the same midfield and forwards as midweek would not be too bad, Ramires is picking up the pace of the game and Zhirkov is in top form also. Will be a tough game even if they are struggling this season, they will be well up for playing us. We need to go into it with the right attitude and we will be fine. DavidEU 2,023
From press conference live on official website:Lampard OUT. Little problem with Essien, 'not sure' if he'll be back. Hopes he is available to play, decision Sunday morning. Malouda IS available. The names to start: "Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Zhirkov, Anelka, Drogba. DYC. 7,542
No Lamps . Let's hope Zhirkov continues his great form. Really hope Ess will make it. We'll really need him to take out Gerrard. The midfield battles are always the most important in these difficult matches. We lost those battles against Arsenal (even though we ended up winning, we won because of individual class and their poor finishing that day) and City . It's time we win one for once and with Liverpool's average midfielders (except for Gerrard of course) i would be very surprised and dissapointed (and angry) if we lost the midfield battle against them.Surprised to hear Malouda will make it but happy of course. Milan 17,958
Essien is the key if we want to pick three points, so fingers crossed he will make it. His presence is vital at Anfield. As regards Lampard, Carlo only hoped, so he was not sure about his fitness. Just give Frank his rest, don't rush him back. I'd rather miss him this week at Anfield than in another 10 games.
Kostas 1,468
As long as Malouda plays and has a good game we won't have any trouble what-so-ever.We're playing a midtable team FFS,we don't need Lampard or Essien against them.
LDN Blue 7,903
Shit no Lampard. I hate when Drogba takes corner kickAGREED!!! Oh my God, Drogba has a power of an elephant and has a great header on him. It makes no sense to have him take corners and free kicks when he should be in the box attacking them (even with "Two Goal" Ivanovic & Terry ). Zhirkov/Malouda are more than capable of delivering a killer ball.
