Spanish coach Albert Ferrer is set to take over at Arnhem football club Vitesse, the Telegraaf reports on Wednesday.

Ferrer, who played for Barcelona in its heyday under Johan Cruijff, replaces Theo Bos who was sacked last week, the paper says.

Ferrer, 40, who has little direct coaching experience of top teams, has worked as an analyst in Spain for the past few years.

Vitesse was bought by Georgian businessman Merab Zjordania in August. He said at the time he wanted to make the club Dutch league champions within three years.

Ferrer!! I remember him! He was a good servant for the club, kind of like Paulo. Good luck to him :chelsea2:.

By the way, they're in action tonight vs PSV. Let's hope our loanees don't get a 10-0 hammering
