Valencia for me on this one! They started the season well considering they'd lost 2 icons (Villa & Silva). But I was glad they kept hold on Mata & Banega. Unfortunately they've lost their last 2 games so they're 4th now (though, it's still a close gap)

Yeah they started well but (unfortunately) I don't see them challenging for the title. Madrid and Barcelona are just too good and Valencia's defence is just too weak. They used to have two solid centrebacks (Alexis and Marchena) but they had to sell them and their fullbacks suck as well. Their midfielders and attackers are good though.

Would love to see them become champions since their my favorite team in Spain but i don't see it happening.

I wonder how vicente is doing (my favourite of valencia and a club icon) I hear hes captain now And is showing signs of being up to speed again

Valencia seem better now without villa and silva

Silva was madly overrated in his time at valencia Villa was deadly there but i trust soldado to fill the gap And mata should start impressing me Joaquin apparently is on great form there as well

But thats just what ive been told by valencia fans

Unfortunately La Liga is just a giant monopoly for positions

1 & 2 will always be disputed by Real & Barca

The real battle is from 3rd-6th. You've got Valencia, Athletico, Villareal & Sevilla all battling out to get 3 & 4

& then there's everyone else + relegation.

I always keep a look out for Mallorcas/Racings results So i the others seem to be interesting enough

Don't agree with you about Silva, he's fantastic player. And he's even getting better and better at City. I thought the PL's physicality would be too much for him but he's shown that he's such an intelligent player. His dribbling, technique and through balls is simply world-class. His shooting is pretty good too and powerful for such a small guy.

Villareal - Atletico Madrid 2-0

Good game. Villareal deserved the win. They defended well, Atletico hardly created good chances. And their attacking play was good as well. Rossi's goal was superb, great skill in small space and put the ball in precisely. And Santi Cazorla was joy to watch.

Villareal are playing good and attractive football and i'm glad their back after a bad season.
