chrismada9 1,948
While Man City are rich, we have no chance of signing any superstars! I don't expect this...
Term-X 7,891
No.I would choose Pato or Aguero above this c*nt, he's overrated and far too associated with united.
chrismada9 1,948
I can imagine the stick Rooney would get if he joined a rival club to Man United! The hatred towards him would be staggering. If he joined the blue side of Manchester, a linkup with Tevez again would be on the cards, and their fans would brag brag brag about it!

zolayes 14,489
I would have him ,,,always gives 100% and would greatly add to our striking power ...

Milan 17,963
I would have him ,,,always gives 100% and would greatly add to our striking power ...Agreed! Plus he's English and still, still quite young, which sounds incredible. He won't stop running and fighting during the whole game. I'd definitely go for him. Even though he's Shrek, he's the only Man United player I adore. Now I'm waiting for your stick
Madmax 9,219
What does being English have to do with anything? You're either good enough, or not.
LDN Blue 7,903
Where would he play? Not on the wing certainly. Would him and Drogba link up? I hardly think so.

You're either good enough, or not.Fans always fant to see in their English club some Englishmen - if you are not an Arsenal fan, that is, or used to be different. I also believe that English player means fighter if you see what I mean.Surely there's no way he would come though.
Term-X 7,891
Nah, the last thing we want is to become Arsenal. We need English representatives in the team, i want to see chelsea players playing for the national team. It's frightening to see how many man-city youngsters are breaking into the England squad as it is. As much as i can't stand the england team at times, you have to support home grown players and be patriotic etc.
Madmax 9,219
We do have 3 England internationals. And the likes of Bertrand, Cork, McEachran, Mancienne and Sturridge at u-21 level. What I'm saying is, being English should not be the primary consideration for getting a player. We've had horror shows like Parker, Carlton Cole, Glen Johnson, Sidwell, SWP ... LDN Blue 7,903
What does being English have to do with anything? You're either good enough, or not.In a nutshell, everything. Since this is the English Premier League..After the World Cup travesty with England, the spotlight shines on the clubs now to produce the English players of tomorrow. Why do you think they're so over priced?

But the fact he is English is just a big plus (homegrown etc). That was my point.
