Mbappe WAS offside, clearly, BUT they said that because AFTER that, the defender got a toenail on the ball as it rolled to Mbappe (didn't do shit to the play) it 'restarts' a whole new series of play

that is MADNESS as the ONLY reason Mbappe was even there was because he STARTED offside!

In other words, if ALL the Spanish players had just stopped dead in their tracks, it was offside, BUT the fucking side judge DID NOT raise his flag even though Mbappe was clearly offside

and to make it even more of a shit call

IF the defender had continued play (which he did) but did NOT touch the ball, it would offside as well

it is utter bollocks
