If Terry is out we'll probably line up

Ferriera - Ivanovic - Bruma - Cole

Bosingwa will probably feature after half-time and if Carlo feels Bruma isn't up to it he may drop Essien there (it's been done before..)

thats how I see it as well

Plenty of options. JT may even make it. But if he doesn't, it's time to through in Bruma and see what he's made of. Never going to know if he can cut it unless we give him these opportunities.

As for Bosingwa. Can't see him being thrown in from the start. Although I believe he'll be playing in another 'behind closed doors' game during the week.

I think Terry will play. I think we should get the win because last year it was set pieces that killed us.. This year i beileve we have been pretty strong in the air. Although Alex is out, I still think we can win this one. It will be tough though. 2-1 for me..

IMO John Terry will play through injury.

Edit: Actually after the injury report on the official site it looks like he's ok.

I guess our defence will be:

Ferreira Ivanovic John Terry A.Cole

I think the game against Villa will be a lot more difficult than you'd first imagine. As Alex has said, Villa are one of our bogey teams that we do often seem to struggle against. Hopefully we'll be able to cope with Heskey's fearful presence up-front...

Although I think it will be a challenge, I do think we'll leave the game with all three points.

just hope we dont take a risk with JT would rather drop 2 points or even 3 than lose him for an extended period

I said if we could take six points out of City away, Arsenal at home and Villa away we'd have been spoilt rotten - knowing Villa, I think I'd be happy with a point tomorrow; United are going to have a very tough run of games as they are facing Spurs at Old Trafford, Stoke away and City away in their next four games. Conversely we have Villa, Wolves, Blackburn and then Liverpool away - we should take at least 8 points from those games but we could potentially get 10 to 12 which is a brilliant return. With United's away form I think they will drop points, especially at Citeh.

I think we will be able to win this game, we are so very strong this season. Would like to see Bosingwa back in action for this one. The midfield picks itself again and hopefully Ramires has another good game in an attacking sense. And if Terry isn't fit then Bruma certainly will be and i would have no problems seeing him line up in the back 4.

I agree with Badboy, i fancy us for a 2 - 0 win, Drogba having had a good break i expect him to do some damage, so both goals to Drogba :)

JT fit. Bosingwa on the bench. Lamps, Drogba, Sturridge OUT. Kakuta starts.

Cech

Ferreira - Ivanovic - Terry - A.Cole

Essien - Mikel - Ramires

Kakuta - Anelka - Malouda

7 for the bench? Turnbull, Bruma, van Aanholt, Zhirkov, Bosingwa, McEachran, Borini?
