King11Didier 916
What a surprising move! Probably his last season as Chelsea player.
CHOULO19 24,332
I actually think it would be a good move for him. I remember calling for this loan last season to replace MVG. We can loan him to the Championship for 10 more seasons and he won't evolve. That's just not his style of play.
5354 204
Like I say, it is tough to judge a midfielder (deep-lying) on how successful he is.Sending him to Championship clubs is really a wrong strategy since majority of them are either struggling in the league or attempting to win promotion to a league. A mid-table kind of club suits Josh more. The loan to Vitese honestly does not sound good to me at all. A slower pace league will suit him well... Hell, wasn't that the case at Swansea with him?Swansea never needed him, their midfield was set with Ledley, Allen and whoever else made up that trio. That's what was frustrating about that loan, everyone knew it as well, there was no chance he would break into that squad. Unless someone was injured. He needs to go to a team that has a need for him. Not as injury cover, as real vacancy so to speak. The only place to be

At best I see him being a rotation choice on a bottom table side. No shame in that. seanptmiller

Ryan Fong 2,776
What's the point of all these loans? He will never play for Chelsea's first team that's for sure, shame really but that's reality. zolayes

Every player we loan is one successful stint away from profit, and he's still only 21.We loaned Matic to Vitesse at age 22!.. now look. Iainrfc04 39
Can't really ever see him breaking onto the top scene even with him still being young. Championship or league 1 level for me

If only Josh had the mentality, because he'd be favoured over a foreign talent of similar potential.
5354 204
I'm still having a little faith in him though...I hope as a player, he can succeed successfully. He just needs a club, a manager and fans to believe in him. If Chelsea is not providing him with that, I think he should just leave asap. Now I don't have much faith in him but we still need to try and do what we can not just for the club's benefit, but because he's a young man we probably have a duty to.That left foot is magical at times.
