Despite the injuries we've got now I think we may still nick a win here. But if we hold out for a draw, I won't be that disappointed. Remember we're away from home and let's be honest, City aren't half bad at times. Our defence should be strong enough to withstand them though I can't say the same about theirs

Theres no way the city defence will handle our forwards, iv even heard richards is out and barry could be playing left back which could help us in the midfield battle. I think Essien and Mikel will be key to us winning this game, i also hope JT goes in hard through the back of tevez.

Who are the City players that are injured? I read on Portuguese newspapers that they're suffering a lot from injury problems. It can be beneficial for us".

Balotelli, Wright-Phillips, Bridge, Kolarov, Nimely & Richards are all injured.

Boateng & Lescott are both doubtful.

Don't like the sound of that! I don't think we function well as a midfield without Lamps

Benayoun and Kalou are injured from the newcastle game as well, so that too could be a small problem

You're definitely right! A midfield with Essien, Mikel & Ramires (as quality filled as it is) sounds a bit defensive (bar Essien of course). But this could work in our favour, between Drogba, Malouda & Anelka we have 10 goals already, 12 including Essien.

I think we'll have to play the possession game, we know City have the attacking quality but they don't have the defensive quality as they normally would. Keeping the ball would frustrate them and give us a better chance to attack..
