Believe it or not, he kicks off the first chapter of the book as follows..

"There are times when I stand up in front of a full-length mirror and act like a contortionist. I twist my neck and I stare at my ass. My fat butt cheeks aren't a particularly edifying spectacle but… over time it's taught me a lesson: my ass is earthquake-proof."

It's £11.99 brand new on amazon atm, and the proceeds of which will go to the Fondazione Stefano Borgonovo for the funding of research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The guardian have given an overview of the book here..

has anyone purchased it?

Definately gonna get this, think it'd be a really good read. Last good Chelsea auto-biography i read was Didier Drogba's most recent one. Has anyone read this? I'd recommend it :)

But defo gonna get this one, we all love Carlo :)

Brought this Thursday and I'm already done. Its an excellent read.

Fairly short at 250 pages, but every chapter has its point. It's not like other football books which details every season individually, and every story he remembers from being a kid. Most the stories are there to make you laugh, but at the same time have a proper meaning to them, and to his career. Some of his humour and wit is genuinely LOL material.

Anyone with a spare fifteen quid, go and get this.
