MateGoa has totally changed in every way since I first went there at 17. You couldn't have found a better chillaxed place. Anjuna was like a heaven on earth/ The cops were still after backsheesh but they weren't the money grabbing cunts they are now. There were no big hotels, no sign of kids, families. Not a trace of Blackpool or Ibiza. All the drugs were 'controlled' by like minded peeps just out for fun. Nothing organized. No signs of gangs. But the Red rupee changed it all. Russia stepped in. Investing in all the things you dont want to see. Starting in 2000 or o you started getting those fat, pink, middle aged families thinking it was a cool thing to do, They didn't seem to notice the locals and the regulars staring at them cause they were just so out of place. It's like you ALWAYS know who the old bill are at the parties cause they are the only ones with polished plain black shoes!! They stand out a mile!' It doesn't help when you have changes in governments neither. One who thinks that having the full moon parties that last 3 days and the nightly parties up in the hills are a good thing. Then theres ones thats anti pleasure who want lessof the 'backpacker' type of tourist and want to cash in on tourism. I've been to Goa 19 times now and rented the same house every time but its changed mate We think we are racist but many there are of the mind we are killing them. Spreading aids and other diseases by mixing our blood with theirs Let alone we are buying businesses and taking their jobs! There are gangs of Indian guys all doing acid, mdma, pissed going thru the hills at parties and raping westerners that are off their heads or just walking on their own. Men or women both. Theres been cases of locals beating up and even a couple of murders of young westerners. About 10 years ago a young 15 year old girl was killed when I was there.Beaten, raped, murdered yet the initial reports blamed her and said she accidentally drowned cause she was a drug addict!! And its all changed for the ex pats who sold up to go move there. I know this couple that moved there in 2005. Paid £50k for a gorgeous house, land and got residency rights and moved there. They found that their residential use of their properties were revoked. And the Govt started fining these house owners 3 times the value of the price they paid for them OR they confiscate it!! Its crazy!! They have even changed the laws on visas - OK it might be frowned upon here too if what we used to do happened. But at one time me n the Mrs would get a 6 month visa. Then shoot off to Thailand for a week or so to sort out another visa then go back again. You cant do that now. You have to leave for 2 months. Yet theres hundreds of thousands going to India from Bangladesh without any form of paper work. Westerners go and add to their economy. As soon as they saw there was money to be made it just killed the place. Heartbreaking it is. Fulham Broadway and NikkiCFC

The more positive you are, the more you THINK you are, the more you become it. If you think gloomy, you worry about what has not happened when you think about all the bad things in your life etc etc it gets your brain into thinking in ome way. All to do with neuron connectors and burned meural pathways The more positive you are the more that gets rid of cortisol, so the more it creates serotonin/ dopamine thus making you happier. But as for being able to think something and be able to attract them then religion has been trying that in the form of prayer for thousands of years unsuccessfully. But look what your brain can do. Let you go thru medical operations without pain killers or anesthesia. NikkiCFC and manpe

Vesper 30,219
Pancake Day London 2019 | 5th March https://thenudge.com/features/official-pancake-day-guide/ Pancake Day is rapidly crêping up on us. But there’s no need to flip out. Because we’ve put together a stack of the best places to get the fluffy, flat, favourites in the city… it’s your official Pancake Day London tour. Where the Pancakes Are | London Bridge This seems like a reasonable place to start. The menu here is just pancakes: American ones, French ones, Dutch ones, vegan ones; you name it, they make it. And on Pancake Day itself they’ll be spilling into Flat Iron Square to make sure everyone gets a seat, as well as serving lemon and sugar-inspired cocktails, hosting lemon bobbing and three-legged pancake flipping races (you’ll need to provide your own frying pan) and staying open till midnight. Details: Open from 7am-12am on the 5th, no reservations | Flat Iron Square, SE1 1TD – Christopher’s | Covent Garden On any other day of the year, Christopher’s makes pancakes for London. However on Pancake Day, London has to make pancakes for itself. Meaning you can top your own pancakes with bacon and ice cream, should you wish… …Or you could just get them to make you their caviar and lobster pancakes. With Oreo pancakes for dessert. Details: Open 11.30am-11.30pm on the 5th, book here | 18 Wellington Street, WC2E 7DD – The Delaunay The Delaunay won’t be doing anything special this Pancake Day. Other than cooking some of the best pancakes in the city, as they do every other day of the year, of course. They come in stacks of three, and are like little fluffy blueberry-topped clouds. Details: Weekdays 7am-11.30am, weekends 11am-5pm | 55 Aldwych, WC2B 4BB Heliot Steak House | Leicester Square How does a casino steakhouse do pancake day? By sandwiching three different cuts of USDA prime fillet between charcoal-activated pancakes, and topping the stack with a fried duck egg, fresh truffle, bacon, maple syrup, and a caramelised port and vodka-truffle sauce, of course. And actual gold. Details: From 5pm on 5th March | Heliot Steak House, Hippodrome Casino, 14 Cranbourn Street, WC2H 7JH | £25 Mac & Wild | Fitzrovia, Liverpool Street The classic stereotype of Scottish food being unhealthy is often a total exaggeration. Here, however, it’s completely accurate. Because Mac & Wild, London’s premium purveyors of Caledonian cuisine, are celebrating Pancake Day with 16-strong towers of pancakes covered with mac & cheese, hot sauce and a haggis crumb, followed by a dessert stack (of a modest 8 pancakes) topped with whisky caramel sauce, a peanut butter drizzle… and a deep-fried mars bar. Details: Served all day on 5th March | 65 Great Titchfield Street, W1W 7PS | 9A Devonshire Square, EC2M 4YN Mamie’s | Covent Garden Mamie’s specialises in two things: crêpes and cider. The former come in the form of savoury galettes with smoked salmon and egg; garlic sautéed mushrooms and the like, or sweet versions with homemade butter caramel; bitter orange jam; or lime sorbet and vodka. The latter, meanwhile, comes in the form of deliciously oaky Breton ciders that are still very much appropriate on Pancake Day. Details: Open 10am-10.30pm on 5th March | 19 Catherine Street, WC2B 5JS snip more at the link Unionjack

One of my earlies fondest memories is the family going on fishing trips in the US wehen I was about 5. We would set off in the pitch black and pull over to the same tackle shop to buy bait etc which was right next door to a diner. And I always had a stack of blueberry pancakes and bacon. I can still smell that tackle shop and the inside of that diner. You know by now I goto Goa/India alot. Well theres a market in Anjunal once a fortnight that looks a bit like Glastonbury. Peeps come from all over India to buy/sell there Anything from Jewels to chickens. I used to do a stall selling Crepes to the tourists. My pitch was right next to the best bar there that all the Smokers used (I'm not stupid!) Peeps would have a beer, get stoned, get the munchies and theres my crepes smelling luvly lol I used to do strawberry, banana and chocolate with cashews for £1 and that 1 day would earn me enough money to live like a king for a month. I might not have even needed the money but it was a great socual thing that I could do other business at the same time. My pancake tastes if I am making them at home are either the good old Aunt Jemima with loadsa butter and maple syrup or the English ones with lemon juice and sugar. Its no good. Ive talked myself into some!! Munchy time!! Vesper

ChelseaFanStudy 2
Good evening, I am writing a dissertation on football fan engagement in the Premier League, using Chelsea as a case study. I have made a questionnaire in order to gather information for this and would greatly appreciate it if you could take approximately 5 minutes out of your day to complete it fully. It is on google forms so requires no sign-up and all responses are anonymous and confidential. https://goo.gl/forms/UFUnW52rbD8qE2IC2 Thank you very much, Blue is the colour
Unionjack 7,531
I am not, never have been or will I be active on any form of personal on line social netwoking. At the best it is for a case of showing how good someone is doing and being better than others. Which has caused feelings of resentment, jealousy, stress which can lead to stress and bullying. It obviously openly sells users data to anyone who wants to pay for it. And with Aps being cntinually made that can take any type of data it wants from users profiles and use it for a variety of purposes. And at its worse its just a heaven for Racists, bullies, stalkers and paedophiles. Theres more and more grooming reports made on FB every year. Check these out https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/UK/Crime/Crime+by+Type/Child+Abuse?search=Grooming And there can't be any denying that racists the world over use it in different ways. That wanker Tommy Robinsons just been kicked off after ignoring multiple warnings. But they should have done it much sooner. It has a commitment to its users not to let it happen in the first place. But it ignores and shirks its responsibilities to keep these matters under control. Why don't they get some mods and admin that do the fuckin jobs they are supposed to be doing instead of just posting once in a blue moon giving warnings. Tommy Robinson banned from Facebook and Instagram Far-right founder of English Defence League repeatedly breached hate speech rules https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/feb/26/tommy-robinson-banned-from-facebook-and-instagram I'm very open minded and not against freedom of speech but when it is against other people for no other reason than skin color or a persons sex or other ridiculous personal reasons then it has to be brought to question.
