rolling in the blue 26
looked at his thread for the first time...you just have to compare the first few posts with the more recent ones to tell how much he has progressed during 18-odd months.Absolutely love this player and he will be pivotal to our success in the next few years. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
He's thought of very highly by Man City fanshttp://forums.bluemo...p?f=10&t=257233We really need to appreciate him more. He is the new Essien. I think he would actually get better in the double pivot role, as long as he plays alongside a good DM.

Probably the set most sympathetic to us in the PL.I think Ramires would be fairly poor as a DM. He'll be stifled, he won't be able to go on those long dribbles with the ball as it'll leave us too open. It's better to leave that job to players like Mikel who are more responsible and are satisfied with having little impact going forward. Especially considering we're likely to have Marin---Mata---New Player (Possibly Hulk) next seasonI'd rather see KDB/Kakuta on the LW. Marin should become a decent backup winger. Nothing personal but if you're not a Chelsea fan you're an enemy. Term-X

They sold out Maine Road even when they were in League One.

Especially considering we're likely to have Marin---Mata---New Player (Possibly Hulk) next seasonThe term 'ruining a winning formula' comes to mind. In any case, I'd rather see him in that 4-2-3-1 aside a natural DM (MIKEL.). That way the DM can win the ball, play Ramires through to make those incredible runs from deep. That way we'd still have the security of having Mikel marshal the back while Ramires is free to make those breakthrough runs. To keep him locked behind the centre-line would be an insult to his ability. capriccioso
