I am feeling quietly confident this season, the only team to truly improve their squad is Man City and i don't think they will compete for top honours this season. Clearing out some of the older players on higher wages was long overdue and we are looking to build something new with Ramires coming in and possibly Neymar not to mention the inclusion of some our own young blood. I think we can look forward to a positive season.

I like the look of the squad for this season provided Neymar is brought in !!! Otherwise we lack that spark on the RW role... Kalou is hit n miss.. Gael is yet to be given his chance... May be he will click given time.. I dunt think Luiz is really a necessity rite now. Bring on Saturday. Only worry is we dont carry our pre-season form to the game against WBA !!

Kalou coming on instead of sturridge was certainly not good, considering his performance in the community shield.

Overall this was a great result, but the test will be against the better teams and being consistent.

I can see this one getting nasty..... athough i am extremely happy with todays result i still believe we are missing something in defence... If it was a fitter and faster team than West Brom i think our backline could have been in a little bit of trouble in the first half.. When West Brom had possesion they looked ok.. It sure was good to see them switch on in the second half and demolish them though..
