Overall, a quiet half (bar the two goals). The goals themselves are 60% Chelsea skill 40% West Brom error, but they're playing good possession football & look very solid on the ball. They're probably shaking off the cobwebs and getting back in the groove.

Ferriera does need to either step up or go off. He's being beaten constantly and when he goes forward he's not doing much.

Ashley Cole & Frank Lampard have been the 2 shining stars of that half. Cole's been booming forward finding lots of space! Lampard's been proving great passes and hit a very powerful free kick.

Good half of football. Lets hope we get a couple more in the second. Everyone seems a bit more confident. The passing has been good but we slacked off a bit for about 15 minutes and West Brom had a lot of the ball, easily could of made us pay. Other then that we have played well.

only one major flaw for Chelsea! Ferreira is so vulnerable at right back, he's been skinned about 3 times by Jerome Thomas. I was amazed that he was starting before the game. Why isn't Ivanovic playing at right back??
