well i have got to admit i have never rated malouda highly before and i always thought he is not good enough to be a 1st team player in Chelsea but .....

recently i have been really impressed with his performance and his consistency as without a doubt now he is one of the main threats in our attack ..

specially that he is the only winger/play-maker we have on form right now ... anelka is not any good in that position , joe cole and kalou are far away from being on form or to be a threat so ....

also one of the things that i used to hate about malouda was that he never looked like scoring and used to waste unbelievable chances and he gave the ball away too much but obviously that has changed now ....

i just wanted to give him my support and i hope he keep going like that because IMO he is still not yet a world-class star but he definitely can be if he keeps doing what he is doing and just added more speed to his game ....

I feel so bad for the stick I used to give Malouda - I absolutely hated him but he won everyone over from last season imo.

Now I don't think I even deserve to support him for the lack of support in the past lol...but Flo Mo I cheer your name ;-)

Anybody know what his celebration is about? the 7... or w/e

Got to agree, he proved me wrong! Amazing player, really one of the best wingers around in Europe. Maybe not the level of Messi or Ronaldo, nor such good technique. But he is very strong on the ball, has an amazing cross at times and is a very productive player in terms of assists and goals. Flo for the win! Didn't dare to dream of him becoming such a good player in the PL as he is now!!!

Somebody should really make a compilation/video of him this season! Unfortunately my PC isn't strong enough for Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects, otherwise i would have started with it a long time ago!

He's been very consistent this season. Good performance today as well. But he has been exceptional for the last 12 months IMO.

Yeh he's been very solid. His crosses and runs todayy very woha.Compared to how he was when he started.Just hope Barclays dont jynx him with Player of the Month award :P

When he first joined us I thought he was terrible, he was slow, his distribution was poor, and he couldnt dribble. But that all changed when Hiddink took over last January, Flo was a changed player, he was even chipping in with a fair few goals towards the end of last season, and he has carried on his consistant form this season too. Ok, so he is never going to be a Cristiano Ronaldo or the kind, but he does a job, and his performance today vs the Hammers was world class.

The celebration has something to do with the Haiti disaster.

I have to admit i gave Malouda a fair bit of stick in his first season with us. He couldn't pass the ball, his crossing was atrocious and similar to Kalou he always tried to do something extra and end up losing the ball or falling over. But since Hiddink took charge he has been a different player. Interestingly, when Hiddink took over was when he grew his hair. I think that may be the source of his new found good performances. lol! His performance today may have been the best i have seen from him in a Chelsea shirt. Keep going Flo, your doing great!

Though it's great to have Malouda in such form, i also see a weakness in it. Pretty much all of our (productive) play went over the left wing yesterday, so if Malouda gets injured or is off his game, what to do?

I think that's mostly because Anelka underperforms when he is playing in that position.

I can imagine that as a player you don't pass to Anelka because he wastes the ball every now and then. Ancelotti should show some balls, throw Joe Cole in! Same for Ballack, i reallly don't see why he is still on the pitch, most of the time he is invisible and doesn't seem to add something to the play/team imo. Time for Matic!
