Been turned down shock horror:

The appeal against Ashley Cole's sending-off during Boxing Day's game versus Aston Villa has been rejected.

An FA statement reads:

At a Regulatory Commission hearing today, a claim for wrongful dismissal from Chelsea's Ashley Cole was rejected.

He will serve a one-match suspension with immediate effect.

straight red is 3, 2 yellows is 1. I'm confused as fuck anyway. They obviously dont like to be proved wrong so if they reduce the bans then it's like the easy things to do. They clearly dont like recinding reds do they because it would make their referee's look bad getting proved wrong. Weird.

Maybe cause we appealed I duno.Thats just wtf.

Yeh I thought that (about level of offense etc) but you cant really go picking and choosing whats worth 3 bans and whats worth one thats just pointless.Dont get it lol.

So now everyones slightly confused over the offside rule and now the banning order..fun tim,es

I guess it keeps them happy not to retract it,if they did overturn it then that mean the penatly never was and therefore angryness.Makes life easier for them
