Joshyboy 36
The two facts i am pointing at :Javier Pastore is not a passer , he is a midfielder who can dribble and score but don' expect assists or neat and weighted passes from him .Pastore is not worth 30-40 millions as that is the worth of snieder and modric who are much better playmakers .I know you all would like to think that Pastore is a superb player and the best playmaker around but he is not . i have always said that and i have always preferred modric to himSeriously bro, no one thinks hes the second coming of Christ, but hes young and has yet to really refine his game he does chip in with assists and he can score goals and he can get a past a man, YES 30-40m is a steep tag, but In a few years he could be worth twice that.I'm not a fan of his but look at CR7, completely unknown player, playing midlevel in a mid table team, got to Man U ... For £13m alot to spend on an utter unknown and he's become one of the top players In the world after learning from those around him. So yeah the price is high but we got the money! Modric has a great technical side to his game and is proven In prem but he doesn't have the same flair or the same potential I think hes got all hes ever going to have going for him, whereas Pastore is a talent (albeit an expensive one) we can mould and shape. chrismada9 1,948
Javier Pastore is not a passerYou make me chuckle! :lol:Seriously dude, look at the videos you posted up! You should realise that he "is" a passer! Otherwise Palermo wouldn't have scored 2 of those goals against Roma! He orchistrated both those goals! ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Who is the guy who does the transfer latest on SSN? With his touch screen thing? Well anyway, he's just said Sky sources have told him, this deal is not as much of a goer as Palermo make out.

Randall 315
http://www.skysports...7059156,00.htmlAbout 3 hours too late with that mate.I think he's exactly what we need a young attacking play maker, sure those videos show him making a few mistakes but he's always going forward and looking to create like was mentioned earlier, that's just what we need. Joker10 946
Would be the most exciting signing in a while for me.Don't really know why we are after Modric, since we have a similar player in Josh.

lionsden 4,689
After all is said and done, Pastore is still grossly overrated. for that price tag, you would expect a player that dominates games.so far I'm yet to see any wow factor about him. from a critical point of view- Is he even technically superior to our own josh and Kakuta, what qualities does he have that our duo youngsters lack? LDN Blue 7,903
We'll exchange opinions, then go to France and England for negotiations. The interested clubs are Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea and also something in Spain, but that depends on who Real Madrid manage to sell. The newspapers make it look as if everyone is in the running, but I hope he won't stay in Serie A. That way he won't have to face us as an opponent. The club that comes to us with a serious offer will take him.So now PSG & Real are back in it

Guest justin_3d
So now PSG & Real are back in it Tactic to scare and Chelsea to raise the price, no more.He thinks we are stupid enough to believe Real would want him after the absurdly abundant amount of mid fielders they have. And PSG is laughable. Just tactic to try to raise the price so Chelsea can pay more.
Peace. 4,352
Well, I am not too excited about him to be honest. From the highlight of his game I have seen so far, he didn't strike me. The only time I've appreciated him was when I saw him at Copa, against Uruguay. To be frank, it is with his passing game I have problems... But of course, he seems to have talent, so I presume his passing game is just raw.Plus, I think we could give some chances to Kakuta instead of buying Pastore. Of course, I won't complain if we get him, that would still be a good addition to the squad. Finally, if we get him, I still hope we can get a player of the like of Modric, who has a very good passing game and who builds the play from a deep position.
