the wes 7,212
Real Madrid are ready to push through a swap offer for Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho. It was revealed yesterday how Real president saw an offer of Ruud van Nistelrooy for Carvalho rejected by in the summer. Now, this morning Sport says Perez is keen to revive the bid, knowing that Van Nistelrooy would welcome a move to Stamford Bridge in January. Real want Carvalho as a replacement for injured centre-half Pepe, while would be interested in Van Nistelrooy as cover for , who will be off for the African Nations Cup in the New Year. With also allowing Franco di Santo to remain on-loan at Blackburn, it suggests Blues are making room for a new centre-forward arrival.tribalfootball.com
EskWeston 696
Lol, there are some seriously poor roumers around this January.....Ancelotti has already said that we will bring no-one in, Anelka, Sturridge and Borini will be covering the ACN period and i am sure they are more than capable. Personally i would have brought back Di Santo as well, but i think we could manage without.Carlo is right to take a chance on the kids, if we bring a striker in how the hell are we ever going to bring through players like Sturridge and Borini? Who is to say they can't be world class?

carefreeluke 27
Poor rumour... Real Madrid are always going to be linked with defenders now because of Pepe being injured. This deal will simply not happen.

warnie_666 1,081
Injured...but even if he was Fit id still see Borini playing ahead of Sturridge cus our manager is Italian and he has already said he can see Inzaghi in him.....But Sturridge shouldnt be disheartened by this.......And should work on improving his game....
