the wes 7,212
Chelsea are launching a raid for Inter Milan sensation Mario Balotelli. Tuttosport says Chelsea chiefs are posting scouts to watch the 17 year-old in Primavera action leading up to the summer market. Balotelli has been dubbed Italy's answer to AC Milan's teenage star Alexandre Pato. Chelsea have already been active in the Italian youth market, having swooped for Reggina's 16 year-old defender Ivan Camilleri last month. tribalfootball.com

the wes 7,212
Chelsea could be ready to pounce after it was revealed that Inter phenomenon Mario Balotelli is mulling over a move away from the Serie A leaders. The 17-year-old Balotelli burst onto the scene with an eye-catching display against Juventus in the Coppa Italia this season, and is already drawing comparisons with fellow Milanese teen sensation, Alexandre Pato. Balotelli has already caught the attention of Chelsea, whose scouts have been seen casting their eye over him in recent weeks. Despite impressing whenever given the chance, the bounty of strikers at Roberto Mancini’s disposal means Balotelli has had only limited first-team opportunities, and his brother and agent, Corrado, has subsequently sent a hefty hint the way of Stamford Bridge. “He would like to progress, he deserves the first team,” he told Tuttosport. “There have been no negotiations to renew his contract. In future, Mario could go abroad.” Balotelli previously rejected overtures from the Ghanian national team – his parents’ birth-place – in favour of biding his time for a call-up to the country where he now plies his trade. http://sport.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Foo...ld-leave-Inter/

TrueChelseaBlue 105
Chelsea are set to bid for Inter Milan strike-sensation Mario Balotelli. With Barcelona whiz Bojan Krkic expected to put pen to paper on a lucrative new contract later in the year, Chelsea are turning their attentions to 17 year-old Italian superkid Balotelli. Chelsea chief Frank Arnesen has had Balotelli watched in primavera action this season and had scouts check on the youngster as he scored for Inter in Sunday's victory over Fiorentina. Inter president Massimo Moratti knows Chelsea will come calling and has slapped a £10 million price-tag on the youngster, which will do little to faze the big-spending Londoners. SuperSheva7 0
Looks good but I honestly hope we don't pay 10 million for him, after all, he's just a kid.
the wes 7,212
Chelsea are planning a surprise bid for Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli. The Mirror says Chelsea want to nick Inter Milan whizz-kid Balotelli off former manager Jose Mourinho. The striker, 18, is rated highly by new Inter boss Mourinho but is in a contract dispute with the Italian club. Chelsea missed out on Robinho, and with Didier Drogba injured, they are short of cover. Italy Under-21 star Balotelli impressed scoring seven goals in 14 Serie A games last season.

Badboy 1,526
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted to being an admirer of Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli. The youngster's future in Italy has been the subject of much debate over recent weeks, with Jose Mourinho culling him from his squad following a breach of club discipline. That has led to reports suggesting Inter may be willing to part with the 19-year-old during the January transfer.PremierLeague giants Arsenal have already been strongly linked with a New Yearmove, while numerous other clubs would be willing to take a chance onthe talented teenager.Chelsea could be among those leading thehunt, with Ancelotti revealing that he would have no issue working withthe powerful frontman - providing he displays the maturity required tobe a world class performer."I'd take a player like Balotelli," the Blues boss said in La Stampa."I like him and with me he would always play."ButI don't know how easy he is to handle. If he is really undisciplined,Mourinho is right to punish him. But I hope he doesn't waste his talent."Skysports Edited December 3, 2009 by Badboy

Steve 10,227
He is a great player no question about it, but he has massive attitude problems and really needs to sort them out. Also we already have so many young talented players coming through, do we really need another?I no the ones we have now dont compare to Balotelli but one day they could be just as good. Term-X 7,891
Why would you say that ?fabio borini, di santo, kalou, another striker (aguero, balotelli etc)not to mention didier & anelka, sturridge doesn't seem the type of character who's willing to wait years to play. Rambo 1,729
I've always been a fan of this kid, but by already having Sturridge I don't see the point in getting him.
Term-X 7,891
balotelli clearly has a big ego and thinks he's bigger than a club, if he doesn't show jose' respect of all people who would he show respect to and for how long.

Manuf 1,448
Well as all of you've heard, he'll probably be on the move. So what do you think about bringing him now? For me he's a great player, he has some problems, but inter's fan don't seem to support him, that's why he's not changing. If he'd came to us, I think he would have change for better, and with our support and Ancelotti's calm, he could became next Drogba. As for the incident with throwing his shirt, I personally don't blame him, because from the beggining he came on the pitch, Inter's supporters were taking off on him, saying some racist shit and booing him.
