Leif 6,006
he must've adopted a really high profile agent when he had some hype about himhow does a team like Napoli come in for Chalobah? i'm literally holding back the biggest confused grin zolayes
ja1 1,166
According to @chelseayouth there is no option to buy. This is certainly interesting, and he is basically replacing Gokhan Inler as it stands. Europa Leage there too so more chances to break into the team. BlueLyon 9,359
Interesting. We will see how he does. Certainly better than championship loans.Just wondering, why dont we loan more players to france tho? France is like a copy of easier PL.Our youth would certainly benefit if they are good enough. ligue 1 plays football based on speed, strenght. Im sure for someone like Chalobah, a ligue 1 would fit better for his development if he wants to continue in england, as the tempo and style is similar. Unlike Italy, the exact opposite of england with their slow play. Leif and blueblood22

Jase 43,479
Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri doesn't know anything about Chalobah...http://www.football-italia.net/72326/sarri-napoli-improvementsThis evening England Under-21 international midfielder Chalobah flew in for his medical, completing a loan move from Chelsea with option to buy. When the Coach was asked what he thought of the new arrival, the response was surprising.“I couldn’t tell you, as I don’t know anything about the player. If the club picked him then he must have some quality. I train whoever the club puts at my disposal.”

I find this loan deal to be rather bizarre because I thought we would loan him to another English side. Our success rate in loaning players to a foreign club isn't exactly great. Our success rate in loaning players to a foreign club isn't exactly great.I agree that our foreign loan success rate isn't that great....but who knows, maybe he can join Kakuta, T. Hazard and Romeu in terms of doing relatively well on loan and earning a permanent move to another teamAs for loaning him to an English side, he's just had 4 consecutive years in the championship...maybe the player wanted a change of scenery? Styles 9,790
Terrible move. It just smacks of signing for a big club for the sake of it.The loan will be cancelled in January and he'll be back in the Championship.

Duppy Conqueror 1,584
I think it`s probably his last shot at turning the tide and one day becoming a player with us..it`s an extreme long shot tho as we have put the development of our youth in the hands of other coaches with other agendas to what is best for their development into future players for Chelsea.not every young player should be loaned out.none should be loaned out more than twice.preferably only once.there should be atleast 2 or 3 young players given the chance to break into the first team squad every season with the calibre of young players we have. this year will be the first time since the late 90`s we have given that many a chance. zolayes
Popular Post! BlueLyon 9,359 Posted September 1, 2015 Popular Post! For recent membersEsk was an expert on our Academy sadly he has posted on here for two years . I think you can find his vids in the archives or on you tubeWe work with them as they were machines, not our youth for future. Pure bussiness. That is the sad part of chelsea. No surprise not even one made it here. The youth project here is all fake, forced. Trying to look cool, bring 100 players in and they get 5minutes to show, then they are loaned out and again and again. Matic is clear example. Would never made it here if he wasnt sold. He had great potential, but no one at chelsea had a single clue. They loaned him out. Then he is sold and within 2 years in solid environment around people who actualy give shit, he becomes one of best DMs. I remember how clumsy he was in begining. There was europa league game, he came as sub and realy was like a piece of wood out there (being harsh). But he shown some promise. And he got another chance and another chance. Year later he was brilliant. Try get such chance, people or project here. Its all about money. About club. Sadly. Then there is Bertrand. Another mistake from the board to sell him. Sure he cant be blamed if he wanted to leave. All he got was words that he will play, but no one rated him. Thing is, there are better players out there. Its easier to throw few millions and bam, you get top player. But try get the same loyalty from such player. A youth player will fight for the club. He will stay loyal and wont flee, hide or not give fuck when something is wrong. He will lead the team. Take a look at Terry. No money can buy you that. If I had two chances; current Messi or 20 year old Terry. I would pick Terry every single time. You can buy players. What you cant buy is youth player coming through ranks and become the face of the team. For decade. They are inspiration. No money can give you that.Sadly the board knows two shits about how to develop youth. 11Drogba, lionsden, blueblood22 and 4 others

BlueLyon 9,359
Board or manager or both ???Both.I would guess our board has very little clue about youth since the last one coming through was Terry and that was 17years ago. Seventeen years. As for Mourinho. People say he can do it but I doubt. Yeah he did it with Varane or Zouma (that said Zouma is not yet our definite starter). But that said, neither was yout product of their club. Both were bought, after showing promise in france. Can he do it with a player coming straight from our youth academy, who has absolutely nothing to show but his talent? Someone who will need to be given 10 games where he will fail, but then another one where his career will break and he will perform better and better. Can we expect that trust and belief from Mou? I dont think so.Maybe RLC will make it, would be realy nice. blueblood22
