Well why not? I personally don't think he will leave for Barca come 2 years time but why would it be such a surprise if he did get gametime over Biscuits and the ageing Xavi! Even in the short space of time he has played in the Chelsea first team he looks a neater player than Mascherano and he is still a baby! Imagine how good he is going to be when he comes of age!

maybe Rodwell makes a good paceful centre back in Andrés eyes who can play the high line.

His main position is DM, that's where he mostly plays, but he can play as a CB, he used to when he was younger. I think he only played CAM in a couple of games, but very rarely.

So maybe we're getting him to play as a CB and CM, similar to Jones.

Daily Fail is wrong. He is primarily a DM, in the Romeu mould. Nothing like a 'Lampard-type' player.

Dont know why people think Romeu will go back to barca. We dont have to sell him its just barca can buy him back cheap if we do decide we dont want him.
