St Abramovich 175
http://www.dailymail...-EXCLUSIVE.htmlHow good is this guy?I haven't watched him every week, but when I have, I haven't really been impressed. Think he's another over-hyped english talent.I'm not saying he's bad but he's not on Romeu's level if you ask me.
Sheva. 5,373
He's decent. 12-15m player, but because he's English....he will go for 20m minimum
Hd123 5
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2076329/Jack-Rodwell-Chelsea-20m-EXCLUSIVE.htmlHow good is this guy?Poor mans Romeu would be an understatement. 12m player at best. Class on football manager 2011 though
Henrique 9,133
Poor mans Romeu would be an understatement. 12m player at best. Class on football manager 2011 thoughHe plays in same position Romeu plays? So, whats the point?
Hd123 5
He plays in same position Romeu plays? So, whats the point?I dunno, maybe box-to-box midfielder should Essien/mikel leave? But then we still got Ramires who is also better in nearly every aspect.
nono 791
Really average player. Can't believe we're going for him, and at the price quoted. Really hope this won't work out.
Hd123 5
Given Andre' recent buys I'm not too concerned if we do get him. I personally don't think he's a top class player at the moment, like someone said above, average in every aspect. We don't really need more of these types of players, I think we need creative/passing specialist like Modric, Xavi, etc (though not those exact players obviously). If it was up to me, I'd go for Montolivo who will be available on a free, and I'm sure could be motivated to come here for various reasons. But it's now up to AVB and his scouting team and if they obviously see something that we don't, I'd say go for it.
BlueLion. 21,491
He's a better option than Mikel, as versatile as Essien as can also operate as a CB or box-to-box. Potential successor to Lampard, wouldn't be the worst signing in the world. He is a consistent performer for Everton however it is fair to say he has yet to live up to his billing. Severinb 309
He would be a good signing but i think if josh had the same amount of PL games on his back as rodwelll he would be much better!I think our goal should be to give josh playing time here our out on loan and we could have a young, English, playmaker that loves the best club CHELSEA! Plus André will be able to mould him like he wants to, due to his young age. And in my opinion, his versatility could be a good thing for us. Even though many say he is an average player, I think it is safe to say he has a lot of potential, otherwise he wouldn't be scouted by all the good teams in England. So if he does really possess this potential, we should sign him and help him to fulfil it.

LDN Blue 7,903
Not sure about him. He's got untapped potential, no doubt. At the same time, he's more defensive than offensive. Though he is capable of the latter (i.e. that goal v. Man Utd). We have several players in this mould, Ramires, Romeu & most importantly.. Josh McEachran.A year ago, I would've probably said yes. Right now, if this were Jordan Henderson, then definitely.
Slam Dunk 1,442
Not fully convinced. Saying that however, I was impressed with him when he came on for England vs Spain, I remember thinking i'd like to see him playing the box-to-box role more. termninja 5,290
He would be a good signing, but where would he play? He certainly wouldn't come here to be a sub so,-------Romeu------Ramires Rodwell? (lol at R midfield)Farewell creativity. Better spend those 20m on a fucking winger! CHOULO19 24,332
I like him, but I see little sense in signing him with Romeu and Josh.
