Duppy Conqueror 1,537
interesting times ahead..i think unlike the previous loaned out players, where the club have mostly been more hopeful than sure that they have a long term future with us..it`s pretty clear that this loan move would be purely about speeding up the development of a young player that they rate very highly and and already are sure is a big part of our future 1st team squad. We Hate Scouse 10,326
He wouldn't get much playing time, he would be behind Kjaer, Freidrich, Rever, Madlung and Reither. They've just signed Kjaer, Freidrich and Rever so I can't see this happening.

This has always been our problem! Loaning out players for a season, and then they enjoy themselves so much that they want to stay where they are... take Jack Cork at Burnley for example, although he did play in the friendly against Crystal Palace. ZanSnake 1,211
Hahahahahahahaha11Sorry, McClaren looks like that one he had a taste of Chelsea Youth, he can't go back to others. The only thing to say is that Bruma is too good to go on loan, and should be used as the emergency defender and getting starts against teams like Bolton alongside Terry. And when Carvalho leaves, he is ready to replace him.

Kostas 1,468
That article is bullshit altogether. It talks of Wolfsburg being Champions and playing Champions L.eague
NoFear 23
I cant see him getting any game time as CB.. but not sure if they intend on playin him at RB.. They do not have much options there I guess..
EskWeston 696
As i have said in another thread, Frank Arnesson was quoted as saying Bruma will spend at least the first half of this season at Chelsea. I am sure that won't change. If he goes anywhere he will need regular games as a centre back. Right back is no for him.
Guest THE BEAST
we have terry cavahlo alex iva also may be hutchinson and mancienne so i think he will get a max. of 4 or 5 appearances if he stays at chelsea .i would rather loan him to a premier league team where he can get more action , 25 games in epl for him will be great and i will keep carvahlo till this lad is back next year . i know carvahlo is past his best but he is still one of the best defenders in the epl and even though i rate alex and iva more than him atm but he is the best one to pair JT . BLionheart 516
highly rated youngster Jeffrey Bruma has been struggling to secure regular first team action with Premier League giants Chelsea this term and the Netherlands international has now revealed that he'd be interested in joining Dutch side PSV on loan."I'm definitely interested in leaving Chelsea on loan. I don't really know what Chelsea want though. I'm not the type of person to step up to manager Carlo Ancelotti to say that I want to leave," said Bruma to Voetbal International."That just feels a bit strange. I'd be quite happy with a loan move though. We'll have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks."It would be best to join another Premier League side, but I'd also be quite happy to join a German or Dutch club. "I'm really interested in joining PSV on loan. They play European football and are one of the top teams in the Eredivisie. It'd be fun to play for PSV."The 19-year-old made his official Chelsea debut last season, but has only made two league appearances for the Blues this term. http://www.goal.com/en/news/462/netherlands/2010/12/01/2240255/chelsea-defender-jeffrey-bruma-wants-psv-loan-movewell , can you blame him ???!!!!!! Styles 9,790
Let him go. It's better for him to play meaningul games albeit in a much weaker league. Anything is better than loitering around at Chelsea while Paulo Ferreria plays CB ahead of you.
Kostas 1,468
Ancelotti won't play him, a loan is the best option for him.

Madmax 9,219
Well he's not going on a loan while Alex is out for an operation and Terry as crocked as he is. Terrible timing with the announcement, he would have been first choice CB sub with Alex out now.

Terrible timing with the announcement, he would have been first choice CB sub with Alex out now.I'm 100% sure Essien would be asked to play CB like he has done before. I'd even bet that Mikel would be asked to fill in before Bruma is considered.Bruma is at best 7th choice centre back.

Styles 9,790
You don't know that. You assume that. Big difference.Well we all assumed he was 4th choice CB until the Sunderland game. Now we know Ancelotti does not rate him and does not want to use him (unless it's a meaningless game like Zilina).Essien, Ferreria and Mikel will probably be used before him against any decent opposition. There is nothing to suggest otherwise.
