As the season reaches the end of its second month, we look again at the Chelsea players in temporary action away from Stamford Bridge.

We start in the Premier League, where after a month out with a hamstring injury, Franco Di Santo returned for Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, and had a hand in both of his side's goals.

Trailing 1-0 to Aston Villa, the Argentine noddeddown for Christopher Samba to equalise, before his late bicycle kickshot was handled in the area, handing Rovers a penalty and a 2-1 win.

Michael Mancienne didn't havesuch a good time of things on Sunday, as his Wolves side were beaten5-2 at Sunderland, though it could have been more were it not for theChelsea defender's positioning and timing in the tackle.

The 21-year-old has started all seven Premier League games so far, helping Wolves to two wins, however they have conceded 13 goals in that time.

Scott Sinclair was ineligiblefor Wigan's 3-1 victory over the Blues at the weekend, but had featuredas a sub in all of their previous six league games while starting inthe 4-1 Carling Cup loss at Blackpool.

In the Championship, Jack Corkhas been a consistent starter since switching to Coventry in lateAugust. Having made his debut at the Ricoh Arena as a sub, he has sincebegun all five league games, seemingly making the central midfieldposition his own.

For much of that time he has had to do without team-mate Patrick van Aanholtby his side, the Dutch left-back missing four weeks with a groininjury. The 19-year-old had been back to Cobham for treatment butreturned as a half-time sub to help the Sky Blues to a late 2-2 draw athome to Middlesbrough on Saturday. Cork played the entire 90 minutes.

Ryan Bertrand has anotherfamiliar face with him at Reading since Shaun Cummings completed apermanent switch from Chelsea (he had been on loan at West Brom).

They are still awaiting a home win this season atthe Madejski Stadium, and sit just outside the relegation zone at thefoot of the Championship.

Since his arrival in Berkshire, Bertrand has beenan ever-present in the starting line-up, and no outfield player hasplayed more minutes than his 822 in the league. Cummings has startedfour games since his arrival.

Down in League One, injury has limited Lee Sawyerto only five appearances for Southend this season, all as a substitute. He was most recently called upon during Saturday's 1-0 home defeat toOldham, but before that had not played since September 4 due to a kneeproblem.

Liam Bridcutt gave anoutstanding performance for Stockport in Saturday's 0-0 draw atHuddersfield. Having been sent off on his debut for the Edgeley Parkside, the Chelsea reserve captain has returned from suspension in fineform playing in front of the defence, while also contributing with hisfine range of passing.

Youngsters Tom Taiwo and Jacob Melliswent head to head at the weekend. In what must be one of the FootballLeague's longest trips, Mellis and his Southampton travelled toCarlisle, where a 95th minute equaliser earned a point to take back tothe south coast.

It took a Taiwo tackle to deny Mellis a firstprofessional goal (in his eighth Southampton appearance) at one pointin the first half. The Saints remain bottom of the table after theirpoints deduction at the start of the season, while Carlisle sit in thelower half of mid-table. Taiwo has now amassed 11 appearances in allcompetitions for the Brunton Park club.

Finally, Miroslav Stochcontinues to impress in Holland with FC Twente. The 19-year old baggedboth goals in a 2-0 win over Heerenveen last weekend, ensuring SteveMcClaren's side keep pace with PSV at the top of the Dutch league.

Stoch has played in all seven games, while also featuring in Twente's five European ties to date.
