I want to play football for a few more yearsat a high level because I feel good. This is the best league in theworld and I'm happy to be a part of it.""It was a good choice for me to move to England," he continued."I feel comfortable at Chelsea but [a contract extension is] always down to both sides."I know I have more years ahead but I don't want to put myself or the club under pressure."If we come together, we come together."[source: The Telegraph]please no!!!!!!!!!! diskoviolente 425
yes please !if he goes on playing like he does at the moment, give him 2 more years or so.our midfield axes with Essien, lampsy and Ballack looks so lethal...

Kajo 176
He's not young, but we get him for free few years ago and he still play in good level (especially now) and if we get rid of him it's will be a bit harder to find replacemant with experience and skills like Ballack. If we want to get some younger we will pay a lot of money because after this window prices get higher.

Ray. 217
He's an experienced player and we think we need players like him as well as the fresh talent coming through. I notice on your list, there were no English Palyers.

BlueLion. 21,491
I'd go as far as saying he's been our best player so far this season.
NattyBlue 44
He shouldn't have another deal though isn't he on 120k atm anyway?
diskoviolente 425
i think his new deal wouldn´t be about pay rises but more about going on playing for Chelsea in generall....

ZanSnake 1,211
I would rather see player like: Bridcutt, Taiwo, Mellis, Woods, Sawyer or Cork to replace Ballack, but i could have one more decent season out of him. I think either he would get a really bad injury and have to retire or just goes out of favour, that is the only way to stop him playing.
