the wes 7,212
Didier Drogba was the first to admit his injury-time match-winner for Chelsea over Hull was a fluke, unlike his stunning first half free kick. The dead ball strike was a replica of the Ronaldo stunner against Portsmouth two seasons ago. Drogba told The Mirror: "I guess it was a bit like the one Ronaldo scored and it was deliberate. I tried to do it like that and lined it up to hit the valve. "Everybody is aware of this technique now after Ronaldo and it’s true that when you hit the valve the ball comes down more. "But it is just technique - and I think his free-kick was bit better than mine."
NattyBlue 44
Didn't Ronaldo get it from Juninho?
Ollie 4,400
It was nothing like Ronaldo's against portsmouth and it was nothing like the technique. Drogba hit it with the inside of the foot, its just where about on the ball he kicks to make it come down. Ronaldo just hit it with the laces with as much power as possible. It went in the same way yes but the technique/style is nowhere near the same
.sum41 229
Now it's Ronaldo-style?
Kez 2,727
Oh fuck off, look he's left the premiership now and good riddence to him. Don't start comparing every good thing/goal that happens this season to him
