Batman 3

Gary Oldman has recently stated filming for the third Batman film of the Nolan era will be released in a couple of years time, with filming scheduled to begin early next year. Can't wait :D

I highly expect the Riddler to be the principal villain; I doubt they'd offer the role of the Joker to another actor, as no-one can play it as good as Heath Ledger did, surely. Nolan also considers the character of Two Face to be dead, but that was said before Ledger's death, so there is a chance of him returning I feel, which would see the same bad gay union that we saw in the rather camp-but-enjoyable Batman Forever.

How do you know?

I read Nolan's interview after the release of Batman 2. He mentioned he is planning the 3rd part in which two face will return along with Riddler.

Oh and the riddler will be played by Johnny Depp :woo:

Cant wait for it..!!!

i was gutted anyway when tow face died so early, and when his face was burned by an explosion and wasnt damaged by acid in the courtroom.

as long as riddler isn't played by jim carrey it will def. be better than batman forever.

@bluelion

you're right, when jim carrey acts you know hes acting and you dont like that as an spectator, you want to see an illusion, and although i was sceptical and couldn't like heath, he was the absolut greatest joker i've ever seen, actually i liked jack nickolson too, but that what heath did was just brilliant... the best illusion of an joker ever... hardly to top... I loved the scene with all the gangsters in the room and the pencil trick, and the storys he tell the ppl about his scars... great acting...

I reckon David Tennant would make a good Riddler, actually.

i actually think that he would be a good riddler

and about the small time actor thing - the same can also be said about Cillian Murphy before they had him be the scarecrow
