Are Chelsea being "bullied"?

Read this stupid article some cunt wrote up??

Chelsea's billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich, has just bought a £288m yacht, with built-in missile defence system. He could have got almost four Cristiano Ronaldos for that. Except... C-Ron would never have signed for Chelsea.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roman bought the yacht to cheer himself up, because he must feel like every star player he wants to bring to Chelsea rejects him.

Steven Gerrard said no. Kaka said no. Ronaldinho said no. David Villa said no. Even Glen Johnson, who once played for Chelsea, chose Liverpool over his old club. And it seems more than likely that Carlito Tevez will choose Man City instead of Chelsea. Deco and Ricardo Carvalho want to leave too, not that they will be badly missed.

Manchester City is the hot new destination for those mercenary footballers who feel that £60,000 a week is just not enough cash. Which leaves Chelsea in a spot of bother.

Gerrard, Kaka and co. snubbed Chelsea for the simple reason that the club is universally disliked, and no one craves unpopularity, except for Michael Ballack, who doesn't care what people think of him - he is German and therefore unpopular by birth.

John Terry reportedly wants Abramovich to splash out on Franck Ribery, but it seems the Frenchman favours Real Madrid. And put yourself in the Frenchman's shoes: Barcelona, Real Madrid and Man Utd are also chasing you. Who would choose Chelsea from that group?

Now Michael Essien's agent has issued the following statement:

"Some clubs are interested in Michael... He likes Chelsea very much but football is football and if Real Madrid, Barcelona or some other club make an offer, he needs to sit down and discuss what is best for him."

I'm sure Essien will stay, but it's hardly what Abramovich and Ancelotti want to hear right now.

And therein lies Chelsea's problem. They have the cash, but not the stature to compete with Europe's historically big clubs. If Chelsea were a second-tier club, competing for second-tier players against the likes of Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham, they would find it much easier to make fitting signings. Perversely, because they have more money than those clubs, they find it extremely difficult to attract quality players. And what use is cash when you can't spend it? Oh well, at least the manufacturers of obscenely expensive super yachts are happy to take Roman's money.

Apart from being downright racist and I quote

This article is obviously written by a twat, and deserves no further comment.

How many players are actually snubbing us though? Are we even in for these players in the first place? And if we are not prepared to meet the demands of players i.e wages does that count as a snub as well then? The papers could link us with a different player every day and then have them snubbing us the next without us even being slightly interested in them.

I think his final point is actually true, but the article is full of ridiculous racist comments and statements like "we wouldn't miss Carvalho" which suggests he was useless here. Think he was just having a stab at being funny, which failed miserably.

Now who ever wrote that wrticle is a wanker and the ones who beleive its true need to get their head straight.

Gerrard said no cus Liverpool gave in to his deman. He was almost there at our door.

Ronaldinho said no....cus.....I dont know..Did we even bid for him?

David Villa said no to us cus he wants to stay in Spain. Its not like he snubbed us for Liverpool for Man Utd.

Kaka said no to us cus...Well..WE NEVER BID FOR HIM!!..So how the hell can he say no to us.

Glenn Jonson said no to us, he was already a flop with us. And I am sure all fans are glad he didnt say yes to us.

Its not even been a month for the transfer window.Jeeez!!....enjoy your summer guys instead of breaking your brains on some sad paranoid twat righting nonsense articles on Chelsea.

Well this Report is Exactly what I feel about Chelsea....

That`s why i`m so afraid what is going to happend when Lampard, Ballack, Drogba, Terry and some other will get to the 32.... WHO are going to replace them.....

We haven´t get any good young player... Because we don´t have Wegner or Man U Barcelona Eye....

Many of you said... is Early to buy... yes it might be.... But I´m more worry about the players preference for City insted of Chelsea..... or Real who hasn´t won nothing for year...

I can tell you guys In Inglat we are under Man U, Same Level as Liverpool maybe 1 point up if the player is not from spain, in Europe we are behin Real, Barcelona, Man U, Maybe Milan...

That`s the real problem for me...

The worst thing of all is that players like Aguero... Belive that the only way to play at Chelsea is if there is enough Cash to sopport the Punish of playing Here.... Ja!! What a type Club some player belive we are.....

We are loosing all the transfer Battles.... Even now Pato looks like a Dream more than a Faq.

I bet we never even considered offering on half of the players mentioned

Too true it seems that if ANY big club in Spain or UK shows an interest in ANY player the press puts Chelsea down as one of the other clubs currently chasing him

He's being a little paranoid, I think the board knows what direction the club is heading to in the next 5-10 years, as far as transfers go, we just have to wait for the right player at the right price and time.

I very much think "right price" is the operative word, Real Madrid seem to have distorted the market, & big name players are going for stupidly high prices this summer, my personal view is that with the exception of a getting a few young players now is not a good time to buy.
