Matterz 67
I think this man deserves some praise for the season he has just had. He was such a surprise signing almost exactly one year age for 16,8 mil if im not mistaken and in all honesty I didny know too much about him. After only his first season in England, which is generally the hardest, for me he has been absolute class. for almost 10 mil less than what we would have had to fork out for Dani Alves he has been worth every penny. In fact he looks a better player than Alves to me. He is exactly the player we so desperately were looking for at right back for a few years. For me one the signings of the season and full credit to the Chelsea board for snapping him up. Cant wait to see what he produces next season.... BlueLion. 21,491
Agreed, he has had an excellent season. I won't say he has been brilliant recently, especially after his initial performances, but he's been exceptionally consistent in my opinion. TylerCFC 7
He started off real well as other teams didn't try to pin him back in our end. Then he struggled as his defense wasn't up to par with his attacking play. Finally now though he knows whats expected of him both going forward and staying back and I for one look for him to be even better next year. Matterz 67
He is an incredible athlete, for me he is better than Alves purely because he defends better.
erinblue 27
He is an incredible athlete, for me he is better than Alves purely because he defends better. much much better than Alves----struggled for a time with his defending but Guus seems to have sorted that part of his game out, this was quite evident against barca, and attack only when needed not every time be ahead of midfield. exceptional athlete. I think Bos has been up there along with Ashley and Obi, who have been immense all season, (these two stood out when we were struggling under scolari) looking forward to next season now that Bos & Ash have shown they are the two best full backs in league. Shane 2,275
Great player, and a great buy. Best RB in the world IMO. The job he did on Messi in the Nou Camp was fantastic.
EskWeston 696
Bosingwa has had a good first season. He has had periods where he has struggled at times, but for his first season he has done very well indeed. We want to see him build on that for next season and really become the right back we have looking for seemingly forever.

NattyBlue 44
Yes Boswinger has been great this season to me too at first I was frustrated with his all out attack game but yes he's changed it up nicely, I think defensively his best performances were against juve and barca for his first season he's been quality for us. Matterz 67
ye not near best in the world IMO Then who in your opinion is the best RB in the world? Bosingwa is the best in Engalnd without a doubt so for me he miles better than Maicon and Alves because of the players he is up against every week in the English league. Its piss easy for Maicon and Alves because they play in shit leagues against shit players. Its the same as Messi, he is supposed to be the best in teh world but against an English team he could get a shot off
Blue Feverr 0
Bosingwa is one of the best RB's in the world, the fact that he shut down Messi on the other side is enough for me.

Ok, to be fair, caliing them shit is leagues is very harsh and untrue, so my apologies. However the point I am trying to make is that when you compare the players the someone like Maicon is up against each week in the Seria A and the players that Bosingwa is up against there is a large gap. There are some quality players in Italy and some quality players in Spain, some world class ones in fact. But you only have to look at the Champions League to see how far ahead the English Premier League is at the moment. The only way that the English sides are being knocked out is when they play each other

BlueLion. 21,491
I agree with Sempre Juve, the difference between the top teams and the bottom leagues in the Italian Serie A is much less than in the Premier League, where the Big Four dominance has basically led to mini leagues being created - the top four, the Europa League places, mid-table, and relegation. In Italy, the league is more competitive, in my opinion. For example, if you were to play the likes of Milan and Inter and Juve against Chelsea, United and Liverpool, the English sides would win, but if you then went and compared the likes of Genoa, Fiorentina and Udinese with Villa, Everton and Fulham, those teams would win without difficulty, and that story is repeated further down in the table also.
