MoroccanBlue 5,382
Can’t lose. Simply can’t lose. Take a point and run. Finish the job next week against United’s B team. Or, win and we’ve essentially qualified.

I see all the teams around us expect for City dropping points, so a win would put us in a great position. Mhsc
NikkiCFC 8,324
Would also take a draw but with a win we go 3rd. And if Liverpool win against Arsenal we are just one point behind them. Imagine finishing over City and Arsenal in a season when people are protesting against the club and want manager out 😳 Edited May 10 by NikkiCFC bigbluewillie and Mhsc 1

Mhsc 1,097
Maybe if we get top 5 they can put something like this out about us - "FULL-TIME - Chelsea NOT SO BAD AFTER ALL" Edit: what the hell if you write Chelsea all caps it gets automatically edited when you post lol Edited May 10 by Mhsc
Pizy 18,917
Like I said a week or so ago in another thread, I could see us beating this lot tomorrow in a mega difficult match and then losing to the worst United side in PL history with nothing to play for next match. We’ve struggled against Man United for years now no matter their form. As long as the defense doesn’t panic and buckle under the immense pressure of the occasion I think we will win this. bigbluewillie and Fernando

Let's wait - I doubt we topple Newcastle and Forest easily and United have been a bogey team for a while I'd like all the help from others dropping points. We might need it

King Kante 1,643
Essentially, this is don't lose. However, our record is awful there. IMO, I am still not convinced we can win a game like this without Lavia for 60-75 mins.
Thor 2,712
If we win this - we are in CL. We'll at least get 1 or 2 draws from the next 2. This one is huge.

Pizy 18,917
Still kind of crazy/sad that a fully fit Reece James, our captain and someone who has been the best RB in the world, doesn’t even get in our best XI now. Maresca trusts Caicedo in this hybrid RB/midfielder role more.
