A scruffy win is still a win. Pleased we didn't slip up with the majority of our rivals winning this week. A cleansheet to go with it as well.

The next 4 games will tell us everything we need to know about this group of players.
Brentford, Ipswich, Fulham, Everton.....all 4 are winnable games but I wouldn't be shocked to see something like 2 wins, 2 losses.

Enzo has us playing football, managed 24+ first team players for more than half the season.

At times he's at a loss for solutions but he also is learning as it's his 1st year. He's already got us from living around 14th position the whole season for a few years to battling towards the top.

I don't know what people want really. Sack him? Are you for real....

Let him have the summer break and work in the new talents coming through. He's changed the trajectory of our club and let's back him as supporters.

we played ok because NJ and Palmer back from injuries and the performance was slightly better

If we won the next 4 games, I believe we can make at least the fifth place

Aren't the next set of fixtures just the reverse of the fixtures people where saying we were likely to win over Dec/Jan and that was the reason people where talking about a title chance?

IMO, to get top 5 we need to win all of them. However, I am not confident at all about the away fixtures - Brentford and Fulham. Everton will likely also cause us problems playing Moyesball.

After that it is the top teams and we have proven consistently this season we love nothing more than going out to play for a draw against and bending over at the very first opportunity.

I don't see a certain three points amongst that bunch, tbh. Ipswich have already beaten us and after their surprise win away to Bournemouth, they'll have added motivation.

Shame Caicedo didn't get that goal - unbelievable performance from him as usual. Baffled that anyone does not rate this guy. Imo he's the most likeable player in the squad by far from a fan PoV, puts everything on the line for us game after game. Always turns up and steps up when others do not. There is nothing I dread more than him picking up an injury or a suspension - we just don't have enough to get by without him imo.

Shouldn't matter, if we are really going to be challenging for top 4, these are the sorts of games that we should be winning at home.  Same with Everton, they are always a scrappy side but we shouldn't be letting them come to the Bridge and beat us.

Bournemouth had more than enough chances to get the 3 points, Ipswich had like 2 or 3 actual shots on goal and they both went in.

There are many things that shouldn't have happened this season but did. Any fear that teams once had coming to the Bridge is long gone as well. We SHOULD be beating all four; it doesn't mean it will happen.

Whose fault is that? If you can't take your chances, which we have been guilty of most of the season, you only have yourself to blame.

FYI, Delap has another goal to his name. He'll have the perfect chance to audition in a few weeks.

brighton lost against palace.

well, top5 fight is between us, city and newcastle

I think villa and brighton are out atm

Villa definitely aren't out of it. One point behind us & level with City as things currently stand having played a game more.

Their CL quarterfinal might be the only thing which works against them, though.

If you look at their calendar until the end of the premier, they have several tough games

But Villa being Villa, no doubt Emery will somehow manage and get something from those games despite the odds. They have 9 draws and 8 losses this season yet still sit 6th, 2 points behind, so based on how us and City have done this season, they will very much believe they have every opportunity. And why not?

We still have got Fulham, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United & Forest remaining. And after today, it’s very hard to know what to expect.

Would anyone actually be surprised if we draw or lose at either/both Fulham and Everton? The most likely winnable games for us? Then who knows what happens with the Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United & Forest games.
