On the other hand, his teams also suffered less. His defensive work starting with that high press was always interesting. I get why people may find that boring, but it can be especially effective against the strongest sides.

Jackson plays a big part in our game plan away from home -- he makes really great runs and plays well in counters. Without him, things might get more interesting.

I really hope Filip is at least better than Sanchez, but honestly, I don't feel anything at the moment. It's way too soon considering where, against who, and how often each played.

Was having a melt down at half time after that despicable first half. The team looked completely different after the changes and done well to grab the 3 points. 
 

We have to look at Madueke, Jackson and Colwill and really ask ourselves if they are good enough for this club going forward. They don’t look to the standard we should be striving for.

For some reason Brighton and Villa have been good stylistical matches for us last couple of seasons so hopefully that will continue.

Good atmos last night and crucial win.

We have a plethora of talent and some of the free flowing football is brilliant,  but when the shit hits the fan we lack one or two experienced players to shout, and stop heads dropping.

It is the managers system. His instance on keeping possession by recycling it, rather than breaking at pace really strangles our attacks. Sancho should also not start games. 20-30 mins as a sub as what he should be used for.

As we seen over the years academy players are always favored by the fans. That's why people don't criticize him. Fofana is actually our best CB.

25m is a bargain they say but on the other hand we sold Pulisic for 20m who is way better player.

Helps on the HG. I am personally not a massive fan of him, but his value is partly attached to his nationality.

Pulisic if fit would absolutely start for us yeah, but I don't think he could get and stay fit in a system where you have to press as hard as we require (/ EPL requires in general). Like Reece James and Lavia, if they had better health they would all start for us every game to this day and be considered some of the brightest talents in PL imo
