Sample size is a whole lot smaller not ready to write him off just yet but we need a real GK for next season.

The sample size may only be small for us.

We have to assume the myriad of professionals at the club don’t like what they see there.

The manager is totally responsible for the poor showing. After a strong start using ORGANIZED PRESSING, we get a goal from that and Man City are really rattled. We then decide to sit back, mostly marking space and not been close enough to opposing players to put them under pressure when receiving the ball, allowing them to build confidence and take complete control of the game. It was happening in real time, the goal was coming, and the manager stuck to his reactive team’s stance. Very poor.

Disagree. It’s always the manager for fans, but it’s mostly the limitations of the players on the pitch at play.

can ask Noni to press and defend all you want, but he’s going to do that poorly—same with Sancho.

I think the decision rests with Maresca and he's sticking to Sanchez being the guy because the errors he's seen have not been enough to displace him. Lets not forget he's had some man of the match performances this season too. Still means we need to move on from him though

My point remains that we don’t have enough evidence that he’s making a mistake.

Yeah…. Look at the comments above and how many are about the manager and how many are about the players.

The set up, organization, tempo and attack / defense mindset is set by the manager. We were TOTALLY OUTPLAYED in that first half and all you have to say is Noni.

I think I said a bit more than Noni. And I was referring to pressing.

I have a fundamental disagreement with you about setting up tactics vs Executing on such tactics.

top players are expensive for a reason.
