Really wonder why Maresca would rather play people out of position than trusting Veiga. Especially against an Everton side that aren’t exactly an attacking team. Feel like we could’ve used Veiga’s aggression and physicality against a team who are going to try to score from corners and set pieces and try to bully us. I’d have played Gusto at RB inverting and Veiga on the left. Of course, all of this would’ve been made moot if Lavia could stay fit for more than 1 or 2 games in a row. So this could be an extremely frustrating match unless we can get an early goal and force them out of their shell. He was player of the season for you last season and in the Championship team of the season as well. I know the PL is a big step up but he can’t even be trusted at all to play PL minutes?
